When I saw this movie, I just miscarried my own baby, I couldn't stop crying when Molly said "I love you" near the end. I could imagine her pain when she heard that scott won the case. In the end everything turned out fine, which made my day. Very emotional movie. I could relate to it alot

All She Wanted To Do Was Put Her Child in Daycare! What The Hell is Wrong with That?

Warning: Spoilers
Erica French was just a young woman who was simply doing what she had to do to make things convenient for her. When she puts her daughter in daycare her ex-boyfriend comes out of the woodwork and files for custody just because he does not want his child in daycare.

From there Erica faces a long legal battle against him. He sues her to death. Just because there was an accident does not mean that the place is unsafe. In the end though, Erica does win her case but is forced to drop out of school.

This movie is a nice lesson to young people showing how difficult it is to raise a child. Once you make that commitment there's no turning back. So to all young people out there: think long and hard about it before you have sex. Your responsible.

Terrific performance by Keri Russell.

Warning: Spoilers
I've always thought that the majority of television movies are better than "the big screen" films. And after seeing this movie, I could not believe how little recognition it got. Not only is it a great family flick but it has a great cast and plot. I had read about it in TV Guide and so I checked it out. It's a good thing that I recorded it because I never saw it come on again. (It aired on Lifetime, which in my opinion has the greatest movies.) *may contain spoiler*

Keri Russell plays the part of Erica French who is dealing with a custody battle with her high school sweetheart. After the father sees the child he immediately wants to be part of her life. The only problem is that he had nothing to do with her (Molly) and Erica for the first year after she was born. And while dealing with college life and living on her own, she still has to take care of Molly (putting her in day care, supporting her on her own basically.)

Anyway, the cast gave an excellent performance, and I thought that the story itself was great. It just needs to be shown more often.

When Innocence is Lost...And Regained ***1/2

Warning: Spoilers
The sudden change at the very end spoiled an extremely good picture.

Of course, there are some questions that one has to ask: Since when does a girl who attends wild parties and drinks is able to attain an A average in high school and get accepted to Cornell? This is a little too difficult to comprehend.

Also, if mom, Jill Clayburgh, divorced when the Russell character was 3, how do you explain the much younger sister?

Yet, with these 2 issues aside, we have an awfully good film here where a young lady, trying to make good, by raising her daughter and going to Cornell, has to face a custody battle with her ex-boyfriend, the father of the child, when she puts the young child in day-care. Had the case gone against the woman, divorced women would be pulling their youngsters out of daycare en masse.

The very end is done too quickly and spoils the subject matter. We leave this film with not such a good taste in our mouths. Nevertheless, we have a fine story line here and the acting by all is top notch.
