- R: Dirty harsh language, Disturbing sexuality, a Rape, Gore and for Strong Graphic violence.
- A man dressed in a clown suit is humiliated, drugged, and raped by a father and his two sons. This scene goes on for about ten minutes and is not only graphic but also extremely disturbing. Although we only see everything leading up to it and the camera cuts away to the clown's mouth screaming in protest (as well as a lot of disturbing mental images), what's implied is quite horrific.
- Will mentions that when his grandmother died, his mother (as a child) was expected by her father to "take on the wifely duties... all of them."
- A trashy-looking woman on a talk show suggestively propositions Will/Flappy.
- We see a man in bed with another man. One is about to kiss the other, but the former man stops him.
- Ed mentions having his way with someone and we see him pinned under some metal restraining contraction in his underwear--and the other rapists talk about what they're going to do.

- Two vagrants playfully bare-knuckle box and then one throws an empty bottle at Will and his landlord.
- A wino throws a glass bottle at Will's car. Will later throws one at the winos who were constantly accosting him.
- A man gets sliced in the face. We see blood.
- A vagrant grabs Syd and slams up against a wall, while holding a knife to his throat. He then robs him.
Profanity

- Lots of strong, vulgar language--profanities liberally sprinkled throughout. There are two graphic speeches in favor of homosexual rape. There are discussions of rape and murder. Three men talk about raping a child.

- A character tries to get another character to purchase drugs. Numerous characters drink, including winos who leave their beer bottles around.
- Two people force Will to drink some kind of liquor laced with a liquid drug and afterwards, we see Will visually hallucinating.
- We hear that a man owns a dust pipe (crack cocaine).
Frightening & Intense Scenes

Violence & Gore
- Frankie, playing with the gun--shoots his face off and we see lots of blood, gore, and brain matter.
- Ed tackles Vulgar to the ground after he attempts to shoot them and the gun jams. Gino then punches Will several times before attempting to shoot him. However, a vagrant breaks in and Gino shoots the vagrant. The vagrant's own gun fires and likewise kills Gino.
- A man has heart failure and dies.
