In an interview, Jaime Pressly said that the original script she read had only two nude scenes. But after seeing her naked on set, the producers were so impressed with her body they requested several more scenes be written into the movie.
Jaime Pressly has stated in interviews that she was a bit unsure of her rights as an actress when she made this film, and did not realize she could have said "no" to the movie's nude scenes, but wished she had. She never appeared nude on screen again but did pose fully nude in Playboy in March 1998 and February 2004.
Jaime Pressly confirmed in Playboy in 2008 that she also had an uncredited appearance in Poison Ivy II (1996). In that film, Alyssa Milano's character discovers nude photos of the Ivy character from the first film that show her body, but not her face. Pressly said she posed for those photos. But because of that, rumors started that she body doubled for Drew Barrymore (who played Ivy in the first film). Pressly pointed out that that isn't the case because Barrymore didn't appear in the second film or in the photos. Pressly was basically portraying Ivy in the images.
