Brendan Fraser's personal trainer for the film sued Fraser for not mentioning him in the credits. The trainer did not win the case.
During a 2019 interview on Ocupado esta noche (2018), co-star Leslie Mann confessed that she developed a real-life crush on Brendan Fraser during filming and ultimately fell in love with him. She was then surprised by Brendan, hiding on set.
