- There are 3+ scenes where a woman is shown in lingerie as Happy's dreams/fantasises about his 'happy place'.
- 2 scenes where you can see a man's bare buttocks
- Happy Gilmore autographs a woman's upper chest, however, woman is wearing clothes.
- In the opening titles, Sandler is shown at various occupations that he had using different objects (i.e., cone, broomstick, hockey stick) as pretend penises.
Violence & Gore

- Nearly all of the violence is played for laughs. It is only funny not very frightning.
- In a scene Happy Gilmore is Show being hit by baseballs.
- A man is shown with a nail sticking out of his head.
- Happy Gilmore is prone to throwing tantrums/meltdowns due to his anger issues.
- There is a scene where Happy gets mad at a clown obstacle at a golf course. He shouts "you're gonna die clown" and hacks off its nose with his golf club.
- A man takes someone's shirt off and punches him in the face.
- There is a 5 second scene where you can clearly see a crocodile's eye in a jar, then later we see the crocodile's head in a box.
- Two men fight and it involves many punches to the face, tackles and some swearing.

- 20 uses of "ass" (7 of them are "jackass", and 1 of them is "asshole"),18 uses of "Hell", 9 uses of "Shit", 2 uses of "piss", 11 uses of "Damn" (2 of them are "Goddamn"), 3 uses of "bastard", 4 uses of "bitch", 2 uses of "crap", and 18 religious exclamations. There are also a couple of scenes where Happy Gilmore is shown on a TV swearing like crazy (most of it's bleeped out though).
- Sometimes you can make out the stronger words during the rant (like "fuck" and "cocksucker") but they are clearly censored.
- Any swearing in the film that isn't censored stays within PG-13 boundaries.
- The swearing is comedic for most part.

- At a construction site, Happy shoots down empty beer cans with a nail gun.
- People are shown spraying beer out of beer dispensing plastic helmets. Happy is about to drink it, but then he looks at Virginia, and she frowns and shakes her head, and Happy leaves.
- People are shown consuming alcohol from these helmets a lot.
- Some alcohol is consumed by the characters in a bar scene, but in a civil way.

- In one scene the camera is focussed in on a woman's breasts in a revealing bra for several seconds as Happy writes his signature on her chest/breast.

- A small alligator is killed on the golf course.
- Happy whacks a ball on a mans head and a woman on the head aswell and she falls out of the window. A few scenes later Happy accidentally pushes the air conditioner out of the window and it falls on the "Mister, Mister" lady.
- When Happy talks about his records he says that he took his skate off and tried to kill another player
- You see an alligator's eye in a jar.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Happy Gilmore and Bob Barker get in a fight with the latter emerging victoriously. Played for laughs.
- Chubbs falls out of Happy's apartment window to his death when presented with the head of the alligator that bit his hand years ago.
