Sex & Nudity

- The second time that a pre-teen girl is belted by her stepfather in the bathroom, she lifts up her dress, revealing her panties that are like leggings in that they really expose the form of her buttocks.
- A man sexually molests his young (9 or 10 year old) step daughter in a car. It is implied that he does this several times throughout the movie. This eventually leads up to him graphically and violently raping her; he kisses her passionately, and when she breaks free he grabs her, beats her and throws her onto the floor and rips open her shirt (she has something on underneath). He then unzips his pants and begins thrusting wildly as she screams. A woman intervenes however and throws him off. The scene lasts for under a minute and is very, very disturbing and graphic, but is meant to be viewed as a message against abuse.
- A pre-teen girl is shown sitting on the toilet with her panties around her knees. Her dress covers any possible nudity. As her panties are being pulled back up her buttocks are seen to be covered with welts and bruises.
Violence & Gore

- A car crash at the beginning where a woman is flung through the windshield, but she is unharmed.
- Two men engage in a violent fight, and one becomes quite bloody.
- A man beats his step daughter violently with a belt and molests her in a car.
- Four men beat another after finding out he has been abusing his step daughter, this scene is very violent. They kick him, punch him, knee him, strike him with a belt and ram him head-first into a tree.
- The same man then brutally beats and violently rapes his step daughter; he threatens her, hits her, then picks her up by the head as she screams and cries. She gets free but he catches her and beats her, causing her nose and mouth to bleed a lot. He then rapes her. The girls mother then comes in and hits the man over the head with a bottle and punches him. Very graphic and disturbing.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Drinking and smoking are both present.
- Alcohol consumption is often not responsible. It is excessive and at inappropriate times e.g. while driving. It often leads to violent behaviour.
- A pre-teen girl is given alcohol by an adult relative and gets very drunk. She staggers when she walks and is seen partially undressed, almost passed out on the toilet.
- A heavily pregnant woman smokes a cigarette.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The child abuse scenes are very intense, but the rape scene is very graphic and disturbing.
