- A man tries to force himself on a hitchhiker, but she gets away. No sex or nudity in movie.
- On two occasions men go to a hotel room with a hooker, but neither has sex with her.

- A young woman gets attacked by wooden tentacles offscreen. Her body is seen dragged.
- The same woman is seen dead with blood and tears all over her face. She is seen in an autopsy bed with a blanket over her as we only see the torn face and in close-up. Not too graphic but unsettling.
- Two men get wrapped and killed by wooden tentacles.
- A young boy and girl gets attacked by wooden tentacles. The boy is almost strangled to death but saved, the tentacles break through the bedroom walls and wrap his foot but saved.
- A policeman gets attacked by wooden tentacles in a very graphic way. One tentacle go into the inside of his mouth, blood spits out of his mouth and later comes out of his right-eye with his eye being crushed and the whole eye shows gory detail. This bit is the only gory part in the film.
- A woman gets heavily wrapped by wooden tentacles onscreen as we see her getting strangled to death.
- Two men who are digging up gets attacked by wooden tentacles.
- An older man gets attacked by wooden tentacles offscreen.
- A dog gets killed by wooden tentacles offscreen. This can upset dog-loving viewers.
