The bell-ringing, hateful-faced Don Hector Salamanca had no shortage of enemies in Breaking Bad and its prequel Better Call Saul, but cast members and creatives from both series are remembering actor Mark Margolis fondly today. The stage and screen veteran died Thursday at 83, and tributes are all over social media from the likes of Bryan Cranston, Bob Odenkirk, Peter Gould, Michael Mando and others.
“I am very saddened today to learn of a friend’s passing,” multiple Emmy-winning Breaking Bad star Cranston wrote on Instagram. “Mark Margolis was a really good actor and a lovely human being. Fun and engaging off the set (and in the case of Breaking Bad and Your Honor), intimidating and frightening on set. His quiet nature belied his mischievous nature and curious mind…and he loved sharing a good joke. I miss him already. Rest now, Mark and thank you for your friendship and your exceptional body of work.

"You forgot one thing. I'm indestructible." Netflix has revealed the trailer for the French streaming series Class Act, which is the offical English name. The original French title is Tapie, which is the name of the person this biopic series is about, but he might not be that well recognized outside of France. A relentlessly ambitious working-class man becomes one of France's most controversial public figures in this fictionalized biopic about Bernard Tapie, starring César nominee Laurent Lafitte. "It revisits the origins of the Tapie phenomenon, who didn’t start off quite so well, between a career in music cut short, small business issues, meeting Dominique, and his difficult relationship with his parents... In all this, his relentless determination, carried by a completely possessed performance by Lafitte." The cast includes Joséphine Japy, Ophélia Kolb, Ivan Murphy, Antoine Reinartz, Hakim Jemili, Camille Chamoux, and Fabrice Luchini. Looks like France's version of the businessman's rise & fall story.

Most folks will remember her from A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, The People Under the Stairs, and a slew of television series appearances. She was everywhere for a while in the 1980s and 1990s, then projects started becoming further and further apart, with nothing between 2008 and 2019, then nothing since. Dubai, Aug 28 (Ians) Pakistan batter Fakhar Zaman on Sunday walked off after nicking the ball to the wicketkeeper despite any serious appeal from the Indian team during a high-intensity Asia Cup 2022 clash here, earning praise from fans on social media.
Pakistan were put in to bat first by Rohit Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar had given India an early breakthrough with the wicket of Babar Azam. The Babar Azam-led Pakistan were struggling to go big in the first six overs when Avesh Khan came in to bowl the last over of the Powerplay.

In a video on Instagram Monday, Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recounted her harrowing experience during the Capitol riot incited by Donald Trump on Jan. 6. But among the thousands of people watching was actor and comedian Michael Rapaport who, for some reason, took issue with her depiction of events.
So, while Aoc described what she saw and heard during the deadly uprising, Rapport peppered the comments on the video with derisive rhetorical questions and dismissively exasperated reactions.
Among the details shared by Aoc in the new video, which you can watch here, she said she and her staff took shelter in the office of fellow Democrat Katie Porter and remained there for hours. At one point, Aoc said she could hear someone nearby yell repeatedly, “where is she? Where is she?” “This is the moment where I thought everything was over,” she said. “I thought I was going to die.”

There's a reason why Padma Lakshmi refuses to hide scars. If you've ever watched Top Chef then you've most likely noticed a large scar on her right arm. The 47-year-old host doesn't try to hide it during filming. And honestly, why should she? Instead, she views the changes to her body from a serious car crash as a teenager, a freak cooking accident, and endometriosis as reminders to how precious life is. "My body is almost a map of my life, for good and bad," she explained to Self in 2016. But, she hasn't always felt that way — there was a time when she felt the need to conceal them. "When I was young, I tended to be more self-conscious about my stretch marks from growing, or the scar on my arm from my car accident." A post shared by Padma Lakshmi (@padmalakshmi) on Feb 20, 2018 at 5:05am Pst When she was 14-years-old,...

Even though Steve Harvey is facing major backlash for accidentally crowning the wrong winner at the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday, there is one woman who is sticking by his side: his wife, Marjorie Bridges-Woods. On Monday, she took to Instagram to say how proud she is of how he handled things, writing, "You are a Stand Up Man and A True Class Act the way you went back out on the stage on live TV and took full responsibility alone. I am so proud to be your wife! I love you." After the well-known host's major mishap, in which he pronounced Miss Colombia as the winner instead of Miss Philippines, he was quick to apologize for his actions, but the Internet still didn't go easy on him. Check out Marjorie's post below, and then see how other celebrities responded to the incident. A photo posted by Marjorie Harvey (@marjorie...

One of the hardest bouts of growing pains experienced by adolescents is that rite of passage known as the high school experience. In high school one is subject to discovering their own sense of self-identity and purpose. In fact, sometimes the social factor is crucial because the cost of belonging in social-related circles is vital in a four-year commitment to belonging among your peers.
The tension is high to belong and get along as your search for excellence in good grades, social interaction and the overall learning experience is important. However, not every youngster can cope with what they are faced as the obstacles to excel are demanding in high school. Hence, the potential to become “an outsider” is inevitable and the unlikeliest label that no one can overcome no matter how much they try.

Screen legend James Garner died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday. He was 86 years old. Garner’s most recent work was voicing Shazam in the 2010 short animated film Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam; however, his extensive résumé dates back to 1956.
Garner’s most notable film roles include The Great Escape (1963), The Americanization of Emily (1964), Grand Prix (1966), the music-packed Victor Victoria (1982), and Murphy’s Romance (1985), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He is perhaps best known for the television series Maverick and The Rockford Files, the latter of which won him an Emmy for his performance in 1977. Garner also played wise-cracking grandpa Jim Elgan on ABC’s 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter from 2002 to 2005.

Tom Hanks won his first Oscar as a gay lawyer who takes his firm to court when he is sacked after his colleagues discover he has Aids. Class act Denzel Washington is the attorney who takes the case against his better judgement while Antonio Banderas goes against his natural macho grain as Hanks' lover. You know that moment in this week's installment of Homeland where Carrie Mathison takes off the polygraph equipment and ends her big "job interview" with terrorist mastermind Majid Javadi, and Javadi's all "What. Are. You. Doing?" That's kind of a familiar sensation after watching this episode, isn't it? For both good and bad, "Still Positive," directed by Lesli Linka Glatter from a script by Alexander Cary and Barbara Hall, threw curveballs left and right. Some of them landed right in the strike zone, but others beaned the proverbial batter.
Let's start with the strong stuff.

Misha Collins may be a series regular on "Supernatural" Season 9, but that hasn't curtailed his extracurricular activities in the slightest -- the actor is once again masterminding Gishwhes -- the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen -- and is still actively involved in Random Acts, the charity he founded which is dedicated to organizing and funding random acts of kindness across the world.
The Huffington Post recently spoke to Collins about the latest iteration of Gishwhes, what's ahead for Random Acts after completing a children's center in Haiti, and what we can expect from his character, Castiel, in Season 9 of "Supernatural."
For the uninitiated, how did Gishwhes come about?
It was actually a "Supernatural" publicity thing that got me started on it. Three years ago, Holly Ollis, the Warner Bros. publicist, said, "Misha, can you give us a little push?" because "Supernatural" was in second place and...
