Segway wants No Blame for the crash that took out Usain Bolt this morning -- with the company telling TMZ Sports ... the finger should be pointed right at the Driver, not the device!! A rep for the company says, "Although we cannot verify from the footage we’ve seen that it was indeed an official Segway Personal Transporter, it’s apparent that this incident can be attributed to the rider hitting an obstacle." Translation --...

So far, Max Brooks has one film adaptation tied to one of his books, 2013s World War Z. I know many who love the book, but can.t say the same for the movie version. Brooks actually didn.t want to write the script for the film because he did not feel qualified. Instead it went into the hands of Matthew Michael Carnahan. No blame throwing here. It should have been a mini-series. There.s another chance on the horizon for the books of Brooks. Sony has acquired the rights to The Harlem...

Christmas came early for Universal this year when The Best Man Holiday jingled its way into a massive $30 million dollar debut weekend, only being bested by Thor: The Dark World. Even more shocking is the fact that the film’s predecessor, The Best Man, debuted fourteen years ago and managed to rake in a little over $30 million dollars in its lifetime domestic gross. With numbers like these, it’s no wonder that Universal is in talks with director and writer Malcolm D. Lee and producer Sean Daniel about a potential sequel to really get that holiday spirit going.
With the film taking only an estimated $17 million dollars to produce, a rise in costs for the sequel is lurking in the snow as none of the principal cast members are contracted to return. No blame there either, as waiting another fourteen years might turn this romantic comedy into something less appealing to watch.

After 32 reviews on RottenTomatoes Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star has a 0% rating. After two weeks in theaters (yeah, that's all it lasted) it made only $2.5 million from audiences and users at IMDb have rated it 2.1/10 and after over 8,500 ratings at RottenTomatoes it has a 2.3/5 user rating. What I take away from this is that the general consensus is that it's not a good film. However, star Nick Swardson doesn't believe that's the case...
Talking with SplitSider, Swardson was asked his opinion on the film's reception and he starts off well enough saying, "It was one of those things where I was like, either people are going to buy this or not. It's going to hit or miss, and it didn't really hit." That's a sensible answer. No blame placed and embracing the fact he took a "Go big or go home" attitude with a character and unfortunately it just didn't work out.

Was E. E. Cummings a Racist?
That was the provocative HuffPost-style headline May 27 on Brow Beat, a culture blog on Slate.com. The author, Nina Shen Rastogi, reported that a lost poem by e. e. cummings had been discovered. The poem, named "(tonite," was published in the Awl, whose editor, Choire Sicha, tweeted that it was "reeeeaaaal troublesome!!!"
Her tweet linked to an excellent essay by James Dempsey, which is about a long-running correspondence between Cummings and his friend Scofield Thayer, the publisher of the important literary magazine The Dial.
Dempsey wrote:
"I've been researching Thayer for about five years now, with the aim of writing a biography that would give him his share of credit for publishing The Dial. It was while researching that book at Yale's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, that I came across the previously unknown, unpublished poem by Cummings, "(tonite."

Queen Elizabeth's home was infested with rats. The 83-year-old monarch reportedly ordered staff to call exterminators after rats were spotted in a wall cavity near her bedroom in London's Buckingham Palace. Droppings - believed to be from common brown rats, which grow up to six inches long - were later found in several corridors in the mansion. A royal aide said: "Her majesty was wise to insist they needed to be dealt with immediately. "No blame was apportioned to anybody - every one knows you are never further than 6ft from a rat in London and most places will get them from time to time. "The catchers used poison bait and the problem was immediately solved. When they came back...
