Sex & Nudity

  • A scene shows a woman fully frontal naked, taken outside during the day. Camera moves and goes back to nude woman.
  • In another scene involving a man and a woman, they are shown naked with no blanket on them and clearly having sex. The woman is making loud, over the top sex noises.

Violence & Gore

  • There's a long car chase in which two cops chase several suspects, and it ends when both vehicles crash.
  • While working out in a prison yard, a gang member is brutally assaulted by fellow gang members. He is repeatedly kicked and punched, and his face is covered in blood. Later we see his face covered with bruises and swollen eyes.
  • The theme of this film is street gangs in a major feud. Violence is showcased in the film, such as frequent shootings, in which blood is drawn, as well as a fist fight between a officer and a gang member and a kid getting beat up as part of a gang initiation. There are some moments of police brutality. There is also a drive-by shooting occuring at a church, but no one is injured. That scene leads to a chase scene involving the cops and a few gang members that ends with the gang-members' vehicle crashing and exploding.

  • There is consumption of alcohol as well as use of marijuana. Crack dealing is also involved and one character is implied to on PCP.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Scenes of gang-related shootings/killings as well as a scene where one of the main characters dies can be very intense for some viewers.

Violence & Gore

  • There's a violent shootout in the end between two rival gangs, and some blood spurts are seen when people are shot. Several men are shot and killed, and it ends when two men have a standoff that ends when both shoot each other dead.
