Ridge and Brooke bask in the afterglow of their engagement and rehash how they first met and fell in love. Eventually, Ridge calls Stephanie and Thorne to let them know that he proposed to Brooke. Donna walks into a conversation of Rocco and Nick at his apartment. She informs Nick that she is about to leave for a conference and is still working for Spencer as his protégé. Nick is angry. Meanwhile, Bill holds a press conference and proudly answers the questions of reporters about his ethical and editorial standards which made him the recipient of church's award. A frantic Caroline barges in and shows her stunned father the latest issue of "Stud Magazine" with his nude shots.

Kristen begins to get suspicious of her husband because Clarke will not tell her what he did with her money. Clarke merely repeats his original story that he has a major surprise in store which he cannot disclose just yet. Kristen confides in Margo how she gave Clarke a 100,000 $ and now has nagging doubts in her mind about it. Bill is stunned when Caroline shows him his centerfold. Bill quickly shuts down Caroline's ambitions to help him track down the publisher of "Stud Magazine", though. Nick and Rocco cannot believe that Donna is already having regrets about their plan and wants to do damage control. Nick retorts that Bill is not the reputable business man as that he paints himself and therefore deserves what is coming at him. Donna explains that Bill has made up for his wrongdoings and asks Nick and Rocco to stop spreading the news. Stephanie breaks it to Caroline that Ridge proposed to Brooke. Caroline is shocked, but swears to herself that there will be no wedding.

Donna packs her bags and heads over to Spencer Publications. Katie and Storm wonder about her sister's sudden departure for London. Bill then informs Donna aka. Jamie that he cannot leave for the conference due to an emergency. Bill shows Donna the magazine with his nude photos and vows revenge on whoever is responsible for making him a public spectacle. After Eric finds the copy of "Stud Magazine" at the Mansion, Stephanie breaks the news of Bill's unwilling modeling debut. Kristen asks Margo for advice. Margo tells Kristen to take a stand with her husband. When Clarke will still not reveal what he did with the money, Kristen explains that she is leaving him immediately and moving back to her parents' house. Put under fire, Clarke announces that he will show Kristen what he used her 100,000 $ for.

Kristen gets annoyed when Clarke seemingly drives aimlessly through L.A. with her. Clarke who is desperate to come up with a plausible explanation finally stops at a construction site and patronizingly walks Kristen through their alleged future home. Kristen is thrilled that her husband spent the money to buy a house for them. With trickle of sweat on his forehead, Clarke is pleased to have averted yet another crisis. Storm visits with Margo and she reveals that she named her baby Mark as an acronym for Margo and Clarke. Ridge takes Brooke to Santa Monica where they listen in on a suddenly beardless Todd arguing with a stranger. Ridge and Brooke then tell the catatonic Angela that they got engaged. Thorne discusses Bill's humiliating entrance to the porn business with Caroline. She is touched when he offers to talk to her father. Later, Brooke happily shares the details of Ridge's proposal with Caroline. Caroline realizes that she must tell Ridge the truth about her feelings for him soon.

Caroline tries to talk to Ridge but Brooke's arrival puts an end to this conversation. Thorne comforts his father-in-law about the nude photos. Bill, who is touched, deduces that the picture was secretly taken at his club. Stephanie and Eric discuss Thorne's marriage and express their concern that Caroline will confess her love to Ridge. Storm is curious why Donna canceled her trip, but she keeps tight-lipped on the reason. Later, Brooke proudly shows Storm, Donna and Katie her engagement ring and recounts Ridge's romantic proposal. Stephanie takes a tactical approach to make Ridge less desirable for Caroline: she leaves her copy of "Stud Magazine" for her son to find. Just as Ridge discovers Bill's centerfold and begins to laugh hysterically, Caroline walks into the room and is appalled by Ridge's cruel reaction.

Ridge has Thorne admit that he initially also got a good chuckle out of the mighty Bill Spencer's debut as a nude model. Ridge makes it clear to Caroline that he will not apologize for laughing at her father becoming a public spectacle considering that Bill had him followed by a private eye two years ago. Storm and Margo discuss whether Clarke managed to pull wool over Kristen's head again or if she finally saw him as the liar that he is. Later, Kristen boasts to Margo about the dream house that Clarke is building for her. Margo can hardly believe Clarke's gall and threatens to tell Kristen the truth. Clarke reminds Margo that not only will she lose her 100,000 $ but also Kristen's friendship as a result. In yet another cruel twist, Ridge asks Margo of all people if she knows what Clarke used Kristen's trust fund money for.

Bill is thrown for a loop to realize that even his assistant Miss Crochet has seen his nude photo. Bill is suspecting Nick to be the force behind the "Stud Magazine" scandal. Meanwhile, Donna explains to Nick and Rocco that Spencer might be onto them soon. Clarke asks Eric for a raise, but quickly drops the subject when Kristen walks into the office. Margo keeps mum even though Ridge pressures her to reveal if she knows what Garrison used Kristen's trust fund money for. Later, Margo tells Clarke that Ridge will find out the truth about 100,000 $ eventually. Ridge continues to be suspicious of Clarke and advises Kristen to go back to her alleged dream house and talk to the builders to check up on Clarke's story.

Kristen tells Margo about Ridge's continuous badmouthing of her husband. Margo has cunning advice for Kristen: to proof her brother wrong, Kristen should go back to the house and get confirmation that everything is in order. Clarke gives Eric a sneak peek on his latest designs to underline his worthiness of a bonus. Eric is impressed, yet shields any discussion about a pay rise. Running out of options, Clarke then asks Margo out of all people for a loan, but she naturally refuses. Meanwhile, Eric and Ridge argue whether Clarke can be trusted. Caroline is dumbfounded to find out that Bill lays low and still has not taken any action against the people who used his nude photos as a centerfold. Caroline thinks that they should at least sue the publisher of "Stud Magazines".

Storm tells Margo that she made a big mistake by steering Kristen to uncover Clarke's lie. Margo explains that she owes Kristen the truth, even if it might cost her a friendship. Clarke tries to charm Stephanie into lending him the money to buy Kristen a house, but Stephanie refuses. Kristen drives through Beverly Hills looking for the construction site. Eventually, Kristen finds the house, but is crushed to learn from the foreman that her dream house is not really hers. Caroline walks in on Ridge gloating and asking her father to sign his copy of "Stud Magazine". Ridge clarifies that he also felt violated by Bill once, but Bill reminds everyone that it was not his intrusion which put a hold on Ridge and Caroline's wedding; it was Ridge's infidelity in the night before the nuptials. Caroline is deeply disappointed in Ridge and orders him to leave.

Bill confronts the three Spencer Publications employees who know that he is publisher of "Stud Magazine". Walter, Stan and Bernie all deny to have tampered with the printing of the latest issue, yet Bill fires all of them. Nick wonders if Donna loves Bill which she refutes. With the alarm sound going off more and more often, Nick realizes that Bill is on his trail. Stephanie lets Caroline know that she does not share Ridge's attitude about Bill being scandalized with the nude picture. Caroline admits that she does recognize a very different Ridge due to his treatment of her father. Still shaken from the realization that Clarke lied to her, Kristen returns to work. Margo is sympathetic when Kristen cries that the house her husband showed her is not hers. Ridge and Stephanie visit Angela and discover a cigarette butt in her room. Todd admits that he started smoking recently and apologizes.

Brooke and Ridge have lunch at the Café Russe when he spots Forrester's number one rival in the restaurant: Sally Spectra, the queen of cheap knock-offs. Ridge fills Brooke in how rivaling fashion house Spectra Fashions is notorious for copying his and Eric's designs to quickly sell them in cheap quality on the mass market. Margo informs Clarke that Kristen knows about the house. More desperate than ever to cover his tracks, Clarke decides to try to get money from his old boss Sally Spectra. When Donna aka. Jamie pays Bill a visit to comfort him, he reveals his wiring trap in Nick's office to her. Donna accidentally learns that Bill suspects Nick to know that his office is bugged. Donna is worried, but cannot warn Nick in time because he has an urgent appointment with his boss.

Nick puts on a dangerous act with Bill and unmasks Donna aka. Jamie as "Savannah", the model. Donna accuses Nick of misusing her trust so that Bill has to separate them. Bill suspects Nick of printing the centerfold, but Nick denies it, claiming that he has not spoken to "Savannah" in months. Ridge admits to Brooke that he has never met her in person before, yet he feels nothing but hatred for Sally Spectra because she has been making a living on his family's creativity for years. Later, Clarke sneaks into Café Russe just as Ridge and Brooke leave. Still miffed that the young designer she taught the ropes suddenly left her business, Sally is curious why her "Bucky" is suddenly reaching out to her. Clarke tries to charm Sally into lending him 100,000 $, but she makes it clear that words will not suffice. Running out of options, Clarke reluctantly agrees to steal six designs from the upcoming Forrester Creations collection for Sally in exchange for the money. Margo and Storm worry about Kristen who is nowhere to be found: will the truth about Clarke be finally be revealed?

Brooke questions Thorne about his marital life. Concerned for her own future with Ridge, she encourages Thorne to make another attempt to get intimate with his wife. Later, Caroline apologizes to Thorne for all her problems. He suggests that they make love. Ridge tells Brooke that he is worried about Kristen. Meanwhile, Clarke pays a visit to his old stomping grounds at Spectra Fashion where he is greeted by ditsy secretary Darla Einstein and grumpy head of production Saul Feinberg. Sally Spectra makes it clear to Clarke in no minced words what she expects in exchange for the 100.000 $: designs for six stunning Forrester originals which she then wants to sell as Spectra knock-offs! Clarke reluctantly agrees to the deal as it means to betray his family and to risk his own reputation. He then goes to find Kristen to prevent her from filing for divorce, but only runs into Margo.

Equipped with a check over 100,000 $, Clarke is over-confident to pull wool over Kristen's eyes and make her forget that the dream house he showed her was not theirs. When he faces his wife, Kristen makes it clear to Clarke that she has had enough and is no longer taking false excuses: if he tells her one more lie, she will file for divorce. Ridge and Brooke spend a romantic night by the pool where professes his love for her again. Caroline realizes that she has an exceptional husband any woman should be proud of. Even though her mind continues to be on Ridge, Caroline puts on a negligée for Thorne's benefit and they make love.

Eric visits Margo and Mark. He is very upset that she has to raise the baby alone. Margo explains that she has received child support. Storm arrives to check on his client. Both Margo and Storm react evasively to Eric's questions and keep mum on the child's father. Meanwhile, the argument between Kristen and Clarke heats up. She makes it clear that she does not care to get her money back. She wants to know why he needed the money in the first place. When Kristen begins to pack her bags, Clarke realizes the seriousness of the matter. Clarke is forced to confess to Kristen that he had an affair before they married. He then reveals that the other woman is Margo and that she blackmailed him because he fathered her child.

Clarke is anxious to speak to Kristen after he had to crash on the couch for the night, but she storms off to see Margo. Kristen wants to know the whole truth about Margo's relationship with Clarke and is shocked to learn that they were so close that Margo expected a proposal just around the same time that she and Clarke eloped to Las Vegas. Margo also admits to her initial feelings towards Kristen which eventually turned into a serious friendship which means a lot to her. When Margo suggests for her to leave her husband, Kristen reacts furious. Brooke notices Thorne's high spirits over breakfast and correctly assumes that he and Caroline made love last night after a very long dry spell. Ridge also picks up on this titbit and later thanks Caroline for making his brother so happy. Meanwhile, Clarke finds himself in yet another trap when he announces to his old boss that he wants to return the check. Sally Spectra is not interested in the money and reminds Clarke that he promised her six designs from the new Forrester collection and that she is holding him to that.

Eric and Ridge are confused by Clarke's sudden humble behavior. Little do they know that Clarke appropriately fears for his marriage and future in the Forrester family. Kristen feels deceived by Margo; a sentiment that only deepens after Margo admits that she knew that Clarke had to borrow the $ 100,000 from her. Margo tries to make Kristen understand that the only thing she could do was to look out for the baby. When Margo suggests again for Kristen to leave Clarke, the latter leaves because she still loves her husband. Brooke is thrilled when Stephanie not only agrees to but praises her idea to organize a visit to Angela's place plus a surprise dinner for Ridge's birthday. Later, Ridge asks Brooke to go out with him tonight which she turns down in order not to hurt Stephanie by evading the family on this special day.

Clarke has a tough time dousing the many fires around him: First, Ridge picks up on the conflict between him and Kristen so he tells his wife's brother to stay out of his marriage. Clarke then pays a visit to Spectra Fashions where he manages to charm ditsy secretary Darla, but fails to score any points with the boss. Sally bluntly explains to Clarke that she is not interested in getting her money back. She wants the promised six Forrester original designs so that she can alter and copy them for nationwide release in boutiques just in time for the Forrester showing. Clarke chokes when Sally reiterates that their deal is still on and that he knows perfectly well how she is treating anyone who is not holding up to his promise. Finally, Kristen informs Clarke that she did not open up to Ridge, yet this is no sign that she is willing to fight for their marriage. Stephanie fills Thorne in on Brooke's plans for Ridge's birthday. Thorne then confirms to his mother that his relationship with Caroline is back on track. Stephanie later walks in on Caroline and drops a bombshell by announcing that she is hopeful that Caroline will give her the first grandchild with Thorne soon.

Nick and Rocco try to convince Donna to stay away from Bill. Caroline is confused by Bill's reluctance to file a suit against the people responsible for the exploitation of his privacy. As she walks into the Logan house, Caroline runs into Nick and wonders if she has seen him before. Caroline then asks Storm to sue the publisher of "Stud Magazine" behind Bill's back. Meanwhile, Bill asks Jamie aka. Donna to befriend Nick again to get his confession that he planted the nude pictures in the magazine. Stephanie wants to take Angela out to the Mansion on the occasion of Ridge's birthday, but Todd refuses when Angela gets a panic fit. After Stephanie has left, Todd kisses Angela and they embrace.

It is Ridge's birthday and Brooke prepares dinner in the kitchen with Maria's help. Stephanie explains to Eric that Angela had a screaming fit earlier. In Santa Monica, Ridge delivers a nice dress for his sister to wear and learns from Todd that Angela has a tough day and that there is a change in plans. Eric and Stephanie realize that it would be the first time ever for Angela to be in the family home. They decide to have Todd bring Angela to the house anyway when Ridge, Brooke and Caroline express their commitment to make the evening as comfortable as possible for Angela. Todd tells Angela that he cannot stall any longer and that she has to leave the house tonight. Clarke unsuccessfully begs Kristen to give their marriage a chance. Kristen has had enough of Clarke's lies and asks him to pack his things and move out. Just after Kristen called in with her family for a rain check, Clarke makes a surprise appearance at the Forrester Mansion handing Ridge a gift.

Suspicious of Clarke's presence for his birthday celebration and Kristen's alleged indisposition, Ridge urges his brother-in-law to go home and look after his wife. Todd brings Angela, dressed up but strapped in a wheelchair, to the Forrester Mansion where the family welcomes her with open arms. When Angela begins to look for Todd to hold her hand, the doctor informs the Forresters that it is best if they leave before dinner. Having tears in her eyes, Stephanie later announces to Eric, Ridge, Brooke, Thorne and Caroline that she wants Angela live amidst her family and relocate to the Mansion. Donna tries to talk Nick and Rocco into confessing to Bill. They refuse. Nick tells Donna to go ahead with Bill's plan for her to befriend him.

Clarke tries to make up with Kristen, but she has no intention to forgive him for his deceit. She asks him again to get his things and move out of their shared apartment. Meanwhile, Ridge questions Margo what has happened between Kristen and Clarke. She decides to remain silent for the time being in order to protect herself. Later, Kristen appears in the office. Ridge wants to know the real reason for his sister's absence for his birthday party last night assuming it had to do with Clarke. Kristen thanks Ridge for his concern, yet she rejects his help. Clarke pays another visit to his former stomping grounds at Spectra Fashions. With Sally still being unwilling to accept his rescission from their deal, Clarke burns the check for $ 100,000 right before her eyes. When the designer announces that the deal is over for him, Sally smiles with confidence: she presents "Bucky" a recording of the conversation in which he agreed to steal the Forrester collection.

Sally Spectra continues to taunt Clarke by holding the recordings in which he agreed to steal the Forrester designs over his head. Clarke tries to outsmart his former boss by threatening to call the police and refuses to follow up on their deal. Clarke's triumph is short-lived as Sally hires two thugs to have Clarke beaten up and thrown into a garbage container to prove that she is serious about her demands. Eric and Stephanie feel very strongly about their idea to reunite their family by having Angela move into the Forrester Mansion. Kristen is still angry with Margo over her betrayal. Sensing Kristen's concern for her marriage, Margo assures Kristen she does not expect Clarke to be a father to Mark. Later, Kristen finds her injured husband at the apartment. Using the bruises cunningly to his advantage, Kristen gives Clarke a reprieve of one more day to vacate the apartment. Stephanie tells Todd that she wants Angela living at her home despite his concerns. After the Forrester Matriarch has left, something unexpected happens: the usually catatonic Angela begins to speak and prompts Todd that she does not want to live with the Forresters.

The allegedly catatonic Angela begins to move and voices her discomfort to Todd that Stephanie wants her to move into the Forrester Mansion. Angela reminds Todd that Stephanie used to visit once a week, now there are frequent daily visits by several family members and she is dreading to live amidst the Forresters. Stephanie informs an excited Ridge that she wants Angela to join them living at the house. They wonder why Todd is so opposed to the idea. When she finds out that her father is still receiving defamatory letters for his nude photo, Caroline challenges Bill for not suing the publishers of "Stud Magazine". Despite Bill's refusal, Caroline takes the matter into her own hands. She confronts Wayne Garfield, the chief editor of the sex tab, for publishing the unsolicited photo of Bill without permission. The smarmy Mr. Garfield tells Caroline that he has never met his publisher. Caroline then consults with Storm on other possibilities to find the persons responsible. Storm explains to Caroline that there is one way to pierce the veil on the corporate veil protecting the culprit because every publisher has to file with a government office in Washington D.C. once a year.

Brooke throws herself into planning her wedding. Caroline is shocked to hear from Ridge that his sudden zeal to marry Brooke is due to her and Thorne's solid marriage. Later, Caroline gets upset when Thorne suggests that Ridge might elope with Brooke. Donna is reluctant to go along playing a double agent, but Nick insists that she let Bill believing that he is one step ahead of them. Bill notices Donna's inhibition to trap Nick, not knowing that Donna's feelings arise from the fact that she actually wants to open up to him about the truth. Donna's feelings of guilt only increase when Bill invites her on a trip to Europe as soon as they have gotten proof that that Nick has planted the nude picture in "Stud Magazine".

Sally barges into Caroline's office to announce that Spectra Fashions will be embarking on a new path with all original designs for the Fall collection personally overseen by herself. Well aware of Spectra's knock-off-selling history, Caroline is not interested to get an exclusive story for "Eye on Fashion", but Sally insists that the editor give her the benefit of a doubt. Kristen is no longer eating up Clarke's lies when he insists his injuries were caused by a car accident. Clarke underlines to his wife again that he only loves her and has no intention to start a family with Margo. Ridge instructs Rocco to strengthen security standards at Forrester Creations to protect the upcoming showing. Ridge then compliments Clarke on his latest designs, but also makes it clear that his career at the company is very much tied to his marriage. Caroline apologizes to Thorne for snapping at him earlier, citing concern for her father as the reason. Meanwhile, Storm makes a shocking discovery in Washington D.C. as he is looking through official records of all the dummy corporations shielding ownership of "Stud Magazine".

Brooke is stunned when Stephanie suggests for her to move back to the Logans while Ridge is busy preparing the fashion show. Despite the recent improvements in their relationship, Brooke has to realize that Stephanie is suddenly intent on stalling her wedding to Ridge. When Brooke will not comply, Stephanie makes an unsuccessful attempt to convince Ridge to get some distance from Brooke to focus on work. Eric is surprised to hear that Stephanie is still opposing to marriage between Ridge and Brooke. He reminds his wife that Thorne and Caroline's union remains tenuous. Rocco gets the impression that Donna is having feelings for Bill and therefore torn between two lovers. Donna thinks it is best for her to leave with Bill as soon as possible to put an end to her spying mission. Meanwhile, Bill informs Caroline that he plans a vacation in Europe as soon as the "Stud Magazine" debacle has been solved. Later, Storm rocks Caroline's world with the news that Bill is the publisher of sex-tab "Stud Magazine".

Caroline is stunned to find out from Storm that not only is Bill publisher of "Stud" but he also owns a wide range of pornographic magazines in the US and Europe. Stephanie wants Thorne and Caroline to vacate the Forrester Mansion so Angela can move in. Eric senses a duplicate motive driving his wife: Stephanie wants Caroline to get distance from Ridge because she still disapproves of his relationship with Brooke and intends to sabotage it. Bill agrees to leave with Donna for Europe sooner than planned, but only if she manages to help him nail Nick. Brooke confides in Storm about Stephanie's renewed reversal of opinion, yet she feels very confident in Ridge's love and will therefore fight for her luck. Caroline apologizes to Ridge for condemning him for mocking Bill. Ridge embraces Caroline who is miserable that her father is not the upright man she always saw in him.

Stephanie walks in on Caroline and Ridge sharing an embrace. She begins to panic that Caroline is still not over Ridge. Concerned that their closeness could trigger Thorne's memory that he shot his brother, Stephanie vows that she can never let Caroline leave Thorne. Meanwhile, Ridge advises Thorne to look after Caroline because his wife's world was rocked due to upright Bill being king of a porn magazine empire. Margo is surprised to find Clarke standing in her door, yet it is not because he wants to see his son for the first time. When he asks her to put in a good word with Kristen, Margo cannot believe Clarke's audacity and throws him out. Brooke seduces Ridge and later opens up to him about Stephanie's scheme to separate them for six weeks to boycott the wedding. Thorne tries to comfort Caroline about her father. The result is definitely not what he wanted to accomplish: Caroline vows to herself to leave Thorne.

Stephanie feigns good intentions when Ridge, Thorne and Brooke question her motives to suggest for Brooke to move back to the Logans for the next six weeks. Later, Eric reassures Brooke that Ridge will marry her despite Stephanie's meddling. Caroline angrily confronts Bill who tries to make her understand that the shady magazines subsidize quality titles of his publishing empire. Caroline furiously shouts at Bill for holding up a fake double standard by which she measured up her own life. Brooke, disappointed in Stephanie's intriguing machinations, informs her future mother-in-law that she will never get rid of her because Ridge loves her.

Caroline is surprised to run into Donna in Bill's office and even more so as Bill introduces Donna to her as his protégé Jamie Kensington. Later, Bill confides in Donna that he had a bitter argument with his daughter. Sally Spectra's ditzy assistant Darla delivers a hefty bribe to Clarke - and uses a chance to kiss him. Office mates Kristen and Margo have a hard time being civil to each other. To get clarity whether the child will have an impact on her marriage, Kristen asks Margo to bring the baby over while Clarke is home so that he can develop a bond to his son - or they finally get proof that a child will not bring him and Margo together. Ridge finds out that Clarke slept the night in his office. Clarke makes a beeline to Spectra Fashions. He offers Sally some original designs instead of stealing the Forrester designs, but she is unwilling to alter their deal. Caroline informs Ridge that she must see him.

Brooke starts to get slightly annoyed that Ridge is not eager to set a wedding date. Stephanie suggests to Caroline to move with Thorne into a house of their own - in order to get room for Angela and create distance to Ridge. Caroline is hesitant. Eric and Stephanie debate whether to tell Caroline the truth about the shooting to keep her from leaving Thorne. Meanwhile, Ridge goes to meet Caroline who promises herself to longer value everyone's happiness before her own: she wants a future with Ridge!

Stephanie makes an unexpected visit to Santa Monica where Todd barely manages to get a very vivid and talkative Angela into silent mode and back into bed. When Stephanie notices sunburn on Angela's face, Todd and Angela are in a panic about her reinforced vigor to have her move to the Forrester Mansion and under constant supervision of the family. Kristen and Margo form a pact: depending on the reaction to the first encounter with his son, one woman will relinquish any ambition for Clarke. Assuming that his wife is taking him back, Clarke arrives at his apartment to talk with Kristen. She then stuns him by presenting baby Mark to him. Margo watches the scene hidden from the bedroom. At the Ocean Club, Ridge thinks Caroline wants to talk about Bill. Caroline quickly sets the record straight that she asked to meet him for a very different reason.

Thorne explains to Rocco that even if security seems tight at Forrester Creations right now, corporate espionage is still a very real threat. Brooke arrives looking for Ridge, but Thorne has neither heard where his brother went to in the middle of the day. Brooke happily tells Thorne that she and Ridge are close to set a wedding date. Meanwhile at the Ocean Club, Caroline tries to open her heart up to Ridge. She admits to him that she was not a victim of his prank when he slipped into bed with her last summer. Ridge is confused as to why Caroline brings this up out of a sudden. When Ridge's reaction is not the one she expected, Caroline backtracks and leaves before she says too much. Clarke realizes that Kristen and Margo want to extort an emotion from him about his son. Clarke does not react to Mark at all, though. Margo is crushed and asks Clarke to bid his boy farewell.

Clarke makes it clear to Kristen that he can never love Mark because he is a reminder of Margo's betrayal. Clarke explains that he would have to have kids and therefore pressures his wife to make a decision. Kristen reluctantly agrees to take Clarke back under the condition that he will never lie to her again. A thrilled Clarke lures Kristen into a kiss. After telling Rocco and Nick that Caroline recognized her at work, Donna goes to see Katie at Griffey's. Suddenly, Bill walks into the café because his car broke down. Waitress Stacy desperately tries to hide from Bill so that he will not recognize her as the wannabe-masseuse from a couple of months ago. Bill then spots Donna aka. Jamie and makes her promise to spend more time with Nick in order to get closure on the "Stud" scandal. Thorne agrees with Stephanie that he and Caroline should move out. Later, Stephanie informs Caroline that getting a house of their own would be the best for everyone.

Nick begins to get weary of his relationship to Donna who is not wearing his engagement ring and becoming very close with Bill. Donna plays down her involvement with Bill and informs Nick that their scheme is about to hit the fan. Nick threatens to leave Donna if she comes clean to Bill, but she still wants to. At Griffey's, Stacy is shell-shocked when Bill returns. The publisher has recognized his wannabe-masseuse from a couple of months ago and assumes that she is involved in the nude photo scandal. Pressured by Bill, Stacy admits that she knows Jamie Kensington. Thorne wants to move ahead with his marriage and surprises Caroline with catalogues for suitable houses. Caroline therefore has to break it to Thorne that she is not ready for a family home and children. Brooke's romantic evening with Ridge is ill-fated because he cannot stop thinking about his conversation with Caroline earlier.

Bill learns from his assistant Miss Crochet that neither seem Jamie Kensington's personal contract details to be accurate nor does she exist in the phone book. Meanwhile, Katie and Stacy break it to Donna that Bill returned to Griffey's and drew a connection between the nude photos and her. Donna realizes that she must come clean to Bill. At Spencer Publications, Caroline tells her father that his protégé's real name is Donna Logan, yet she begs him not to fire her because the Logans have always been good to her. Sally continues to blackmail Clarke: she is annoyed by his reluctance to come up with the Forrester designs for the Fall collection and sets a deadline. Sally's ambitions do not end there, though. She makes it clear to Clarke that if he wants to hold onto his marriage and job, he better help her fulfill yet another wish. Clarke is stunned that Sally wants to get acquainted with Stephanie in order to benefit from the Forrester matriarch's social standing. Thorne informs Stephanie and Ridge that his moving out plans are on hold for the time being. Ridge goes to see Caroline desperate to find out what she really wanted to tell him yesterday. Caroline finally takes all the courage she has and confesses her love. Ridge then pulls Caroline into a passionate kiss.

Caroline and Ridge are shocked by their strong feelings for each other and how they kept them hidden for so many months. They are also both clueless as to what to do next. After discussing the suspicious coincidence of mutual disappearing acts of Ridge and Caroline the day prior with Eric, Stephanie pays a visit to Santa Monica. She informs Todd that she is not accepting a "no" to her moving plans for Angela and is willing to replace him if he continues to stall. Alone, Todd tries to convince his patient to comply with Stephanie's plan. Angela reminds Todd that her name is not Angela, nor will she able to hold up the charade any longer if living amidst the family. The fake Angela wants to tell the Forrester the truth, but Todd rightfully points out that they would end up in jail after living of Stephanie's money for years. Todd and Angela ponder about the best way to put an end to their little play. Bill welcomes Donna at his office with the news that he is fully aware that her name is not Jamie Kensington. Donna explains to Bill why she originally sought the internship. Bill acknowledges that he might have hurt her, yet he feels very much betrayed by Donna as well and asks her to go. Donna gives Bill the necklace back and leaves with a sad look on her face.

Ridge and Caroline realize that they must go on with their lives for the time being until they sort out their current relationships. Clarke is under enormous pressure to fulfill his side of the deal with Sally. Equipped with a mini-camera, it proves to be more difficult than expected to get his hands on the designs of the Forrester fall collection when neither Margo nor Ridge are very helpful. Just as he searches Ridge's desk for the file cabinet key in an unobserved moment, Clarke is caught by Rocco. Margo and Kristen struggle to be friendly with each. Kristen informs Margo that she and Clarke are back together. Meanwhile, Ridge visits Brooke in the lab to confess his feelings for Caroline. However, he loses courage due to Brooke's affectionate welcome.

Sally learns from Spectra's head of production, Saul, that he took costly measures to get the staff on call and the factory ready in time, yet the only thing missing right now are the Forrester's designs. Meanwhile, Rocco informs Ridge that he caught Clarke snooping around in his office. Just as Kristen seems to forgive him for his affair with Margo, Clarke has to face Ridge and Eric who angrily remind him that he will not get access to the new collection unless supervised by either of them. Suddenly, Trish brings in an envelope containing a tape - Clarke is worried but it turns out to be blank. When Clarke calls Sally, she threatens him that the next tape won't be if he will not deliver on their deal by tomorrow. Over at Spencer Publications, Stephanie unsuccessfully tries to push Caroline into moving.

Donna surprises Nick by wearing his engagement ring. With great sadness, Nicholas explains that she is better off without him because he will lose his job and have to move elsewhere while Bill Spencer can offer her a bright future in publishing. They end their relationship and Donna goes to see Bill. When Bill will not talk to her, Donna leaves a heartfelt letter in which she expresses her gratitude for the chance to get to know him. At Forrester Creations, Rocco takes his job to supervise security a little bit too serious. Stephanie discusses with Ridge that they may have to replace Todd because he continues to oppose to Angela moving. Todd is surprised when he finds the fake Angela hastily packing her suitcase. She fears that Stephanie will uncover their web of deceit as soon as they relocate her to the Forrester Mansion. Angela tries to convince Todd to leave town together, but he feels an obligation to the Forresters. When Stephanie calls to announce her visit and her alleged daughter storms out of the house at the same time, Todd panics. Todd is therefore stunned when a catatonic Angela lies in bed peacefully for Stephanie's visit.

Sally is thrilled to catch Stephanie at Café Russe and introduces herself as an admirer. As she tries to befriend the Forrester Matriarch, Stephanie comprehends that her counterpart is none other than Sally Spectra who has been making a living on her husband's talents for years. Stephanie royally snubs Sally and catches her in a lie when she claims to be interested to donate money for one of her charities, yet fails to come up with a cheque. Margo gets a kick out of tormenting Clarke when she realizes that he seems under a lot of pressure. Clarke then rushes off to Spectra Fashions, but only finds Sally's assistant Darla there. Thorne explains to Ridge that everything seems to have fallen into place for him and that he is enjoying a very happy marriage. Little does Thorne know that Ridge's next visitor is Caroline who mentions that she feels invigorated now that she opened up about her true feelings. Meanwhile, Brooke leaves early from work and buys a pregnancy test at the pharmacy.

Stephanie is shocked to find out by accident that Brooke is pregnant. Stephanie accuses Brooke to have stopped taking the pill on purpose and voices doubts that Ridge will be pleased. Meanwhile, Ridge and Caroline discuss their feelings for each other and Thorne's role in all of this. Caroline explains that Thorne knows in his heart that she has feelings for Ridge. Later, Caroline runs into Thorne who is artlessly happy. Clarke presents Sally the first design, but asks for a reprieve for further "deliveries". Sally is not willing to make comprises and demands that Clarke give her more designs by the end of next week. Kristen apologizes to Storm for misjudging him about her husband. He explains why he helped to keep Margo's paternity secret for so long.

Bill brings Margo a gift for her baby boy. They catch on their friendship and recount their respective love affair failures during the past year to each other. Eric congratulates Ridge on having Brooke in his life as she seems to have good influence on him. Just as Caroline wants to tell Stephanie that her newfound happiness arises from the fact that Ridge reciprocates her feelings for him, the Forrester Matriarch drops the bomb that Brooke is pregnant. Meanwhile at Café Russe, Brooke - with the greatest smile on her face - delivers her happy news to Ridge that they are having a baby.

Brooke is hurt when Ridge's reaction to her happy news is everything but thrilled. He tries to point out that he is overwhelmed because they did not plan on having a child. Meanwhile, Caroline is devastated by Brooke's pregnancy. Stephanie discloses this information to Eric who thinks that they should consider letting Caroline in on the fact that Thorne shot Ridge. Right on cue, Thorne walks into the den. Later, Thorne tells Caroline that he is overjoyed for Ridge and Brooke to become parents as it ought to mean that they will get married soon. Storm informs Donna and Katie that he is being transferred to the San Francisco office of his law firm. Missing her mother desperately in such a time of upheaval, Donna decides to call Bill and set up a meeting.

Stephanie and Eric are surprised when Ridge comes home alone from his dinner date. Worried about his fiancé's whereabouts, Ridge calls the Logan house but Katie has not seen Brooke. When Storm picks up on the news that Brooke had a falling out with Ridge, he is very curious what caused it. Meanwhile, Caroline gets uneasy after Thorne suggests that Brooke will be the one to tame his brother to become a husband and father. Donna pays Bill a visit and asks him to bring her parents back to Los Angeles. Bill agrees to try, yet he points out that he cannot trust Donna anymore and locks any chance for a future romantic involvement.

Brooke's disappearance creates quite a commotion: Storm shows up at the Forrester Mansion looking out for his sister's interests while Thorne and Caroline are surprised to find out from Eric and Stephanie that Ridge's reluctant reaction to Brooke's pregnancy caused a falling out between the recently engaged couple. Finally, Ridge is relieved to receive a phone call from Brooke in which she announces her imminent return. Kristen is surprised when Clarke turns down the chance for a romantic evening at home in favor of a late night shift at work. Clarke, who feels creatively burnt out, is feverishly pondering his options regarding Sally's blackmail. Later, someone rummages through Ridge's office and photographs the sketches of the Forrester fall collection. Rocco busts the masked intruder assuming that he has finally caught Clarke.

Rocco's moment of triumph to catch the thief trying to steal the fall collection is short-lived as he manages to escape. Surprisingly, it is Clarke who accidentally apprehends the burglar. Clarke gives Rocco the camera and leaves for Spectra Fashions. There, he hands a beatific Sally three sought-after Forrester Originals. Sally is thrilled, yet she is expecting more. To put Clarke under continued pressure, Sally informs her ex-employee that she recently got herself acquainted with Stephanie and now has a direct link to drop the bomb on him. Over at the Forrester Mansion, Stephanie rushes Thorne and Caroline off to their suite. Upstairs, they argue whether Ridge genuinely loves Brooke. Brooke finally returns after being in a minor car accident. She pleads with Ridge to believe her that she did not get pregnant on purpose. To proof her devotion for him, Brooke announces that she will not have the child if that is what Ridge wants.

Ridge and Brooke discuss the baby and she rows back on her statement to consider an abortion. Caroline is annoyed by Stephanie who continues to hint that there is a reason why she is suddenly in favor of Brooke, yet she keeps mum on the details. When Brooke comes downstairs, Stephanie offers her support and expresses her conviction that Ridge will marry her soon. Later, Caroline accuses Brooke of getting pregnant on purpose and pressures her to get her state confirmed by a doctor as those home kits tend to be inaccurate. Eric applauds Clarke for protecting the company. Kristen is extremely proud of her husband when she finds out that Clarke tackled a thief last night and prevented him from stealing the entire fall collection. Kristen begins to fall for Clarke again and they make love in his office.

To Brooke's surprise, Stephanie is very supportive and reminds her how she was in a similar situation when she got pregnant with Ridge unplanned. Thorne tells Ridge to own up to his responsibilities and support Brooke during her pregnancy. Ridge shouts at Thorne to stay out of his affairs. Only Eric's arrival prevents the brothers to start a brawling. Bill visits Stephanie and relates Donna's request to transfer Stephen and Beth back to Los Angeles. Stephanie asserts that it was her who reunited the family in the first place, yet the Logans must now stay in Paris. Bill accepts Stephanie's decision and leaves. In Santa Monica, the fake Angela explains to Todd that she almost cried during Stephanie's last visit as it became obvious that her love for her alleged daughter is unconditional. It is not before long that Stephanie arrives and reveals to Todd that she has always been praying for a miracle for Angela.
