Wendy O. Williams refused to wear any outfits that weren't her own for the film. She also refused to take off her boots and even wears them in the shower scenes.
Director Tom De Simone has stated that of all his films, "Reform School Girls" was the most fun to make.
The role of Warden Sutter in the original script was a man. Producers wanted Sybil Danning to play the character Edna, but director Tom DeSimone knew she wasn't good for that part so he changed the role of the warden to a women and had Sybil play that role instead.
