  Richard Larsen : What? I didn't hear...

  Det. Mike Fisher : We're not telling the press yet, or Theodore. This is off the record, Dick. We know you're ethical. We also know you like him.

  Richard Larsen : I used to like him. I don't hate him.

  Det. Mike Fisher : I don't hate him.

  Jerry Thompson : I hate him.

  Det. Mike Fisher : I lied. I hate him too.

• Det. Bob Keppel : Well, at least they got the animal locked up.

  Jerry Thompson : Yeah. Florida won't let him go. They'll fry him down here.

  Det. Mike Fisher : I'll drink to that.

  Det. Bob Keppel : Richard, you couldn't possibly still have any doubts.

  Richard Larsen : No, no doubts. I was just remembering Ted asking me where they execute people these days, and I said, "Maybe Florida". I think maybe Ted Bundy came here to destroy that part that he knows is a monster.

  Det. Mike Fisher : You know, it's weird that every time Theodore's been caught, it's because of his lousy driving. They ought to send him to remedial driving school before the chair. I sentence you, Theodore Bundy, to driver's ed.
