When Nalle and Mackan are speaking, they use a form of slang that is very much unknown for anyone outside Stockholm. It's so ironically cunning that in the Swedish television version of the movie, they have subtitles.
Franz Hanfstingl, who plays the inn keeper/ski teacher Rudi, was the only one in the cast who didn't know how to ski. Therefore, all distance shots of him skiing was doubled.
Filmed mostly on location in Verbier, Switzerland. The movie states that they are in Kirchberg, Switzerland, but Kirchberg is really a popular ski resort in Austria. The "Swiss" people in the movie also speaks Tirol-German, not the Swiss kind.
