A competition against yourself

The story of a woman who decides to enter the Ironman, probably the hardest triathlon in the world.

I liked it. It is not about being number one, in a competition with more than 1,000 contestants, it's about you facing yourself, about not stopping. Falling, and standing up to continue, to finish what you began. In the story, Nora is going nowhere, her son arrives home for the summer, and she begins the training with him, who helps and encourages her. Since I saw it, I've wanted to test myself ... but not that hard.

OMG! I been looking for this movie all my life

When I was young, I watch this movie on tv and never forget it.

All alone I thought it was Shirley Maclaine so I never found the title of this show in google or IMDB.

Today I'm watching the Bewitched movie and saw Penny Marshall and think oh...maybe it is her instead and finally after almost 40yrs of searching...one of my buckle list is completed.

Oh...I haven't review this show...highly recommended feel good movie...just watch it :))

Inspirational

This was a very inspirational movie. I absolutely loved it!! What's funny is that I actually quit smoking earlier today and I actually used to run long distances in high school LoL. I've terribly damaged my lungs. But I'm told that our lungs are one of the few organs that can repair themselves with time if you quit smoking. So maybe I'll even try exercising once again. I'm 59 now. But like they say. I guess it's never too late to start until you're dead lol. I love true and inspirational stories both. We could use a lot more movies like this in our day and age. It was also very heartwarming to see someone with a hardened heart like myself give love a chance again after so much pain. And the fact that it shows how a parent can reunite with a child and even rebuild that type of relationship was amazing as well. It's just an overall amazing story line and movie.
