Kyle's memory of their dad rattles Stacey, but Kat convinces her to give him a chance. Ruth tells Kat she gave birth to twins, not just Zoe, but her mum wanted the boy adopted. Stacey leaves with Arthur on a taxi. Kyle's keeping a secret.
Kat learns Mo kept her son's existence from her. Stacey brings Arthur to a church and becomes paranoid about his safety. After Shabnam learns she can't have another baby, Shirley arranges for Jade to visit. Charlie has severe chest pains.
As Charlie lays dying from a heart attack, he makes some admissions and begs Kat's forgiveness. Meanwhile, Stacey is convinced baby Arthur is the son of God and seeks refuge with Dot.
Second of two episodes - Stacey asks Kyle to take her and Arthur away, but her erratic comments lead him to call Martin. Phil and Alfie both admit hiding serious health problems. Kush talks about his son as Shabnam eavesdrops.
Nancy finds Stacey atop the Queen Vic waiting for God. Shabnam confronts Kush about being Arthur's father. Phil tells Shirley he drove the car during the crash. Martin talks Stacey off the roof by saying he's a messenger sent by God.
Stacey descends further into psychotic behavior. Kush's pleas fail to convince Shabnam and she packs her bags. Alfie tells Kat he has a benign brain tumor. Phil tells Sharon that he was driving the car in the crash that hurt Dennis.
Carmel seeks comfort from Masood and they end up sleeping together. Phil tells Sharon he's dying but she doesn't believe him. Shabnam agrees to stay with Kush, but wants Martin to be told who Arthur's father is. A drunken Phil drives off.
Phil wakes up in a bin after a bender. Gavin shows up at Sharon's, asking her and Dennis to go away with him. Phil, looking for Louise, finds out Peggy is back. Peggy tells him she's dying. Phil finds Louise at her school and collapses.
Louise visits the Square to report Phil's in hospital. Kat's sisters don't want her at the funeral. Sonia learns of Stacey's delusional state. Phil accidentally hits Kathy while drunk. Sharon takes Gavin's offer and leaves with Dennis.
As Stacey's psychosis continues to intensify, Martin realises he needs help. Paul and Ben begin to rebuild their fraught relationship, and Kat opens up to her sister.
At the hospital, Stacey is diagnosed with postpartum psychosis and not allowed to leave. She's not allowed to keep Arthur either, making her believe Martin betrayed her. Paul tells Ben he loves him and wants him to choose who he wants.
Stacey says little to Martin when he visits the hospital. Ben tells Paul he loves him and will break up with Abi. Ian gets a place in boarding school for Bobby 8 months early. Alfie and Kat leave for Spain. Ryan tells Lily he's her dad.
First of two episodes - Whitney talks Ryan into meeting. Ian and Jane take Bobby to boarding school. Mick convinces Ryan to return the cash and turn himself in for Rob's death. Kush watches Arthur for a day.
At Honey and Billy's engagement party, Phil suffers a medical emergency. Linda warns Whitney to stay away from Mick. A doctor tells Phil's family he will die without a liver transplant.
Phil learns his drinking bars him from the transplant list. Schoolkids tell Jade her dad's a rapist. Nancy and Tamwar open a pop-up restaurant in the Laundrette, where Denise throws a drink on Claudette. Shabnam tells Kush they're over.
Joel's daughter Hannah blames Ronnie for her parents' deaths. Tamwar leaves the pop-up restaurant unexpectedly and Nancy has an epileptic episode. Shabnam, who is moving to Pakistan, tells Masood that Arthur is Kush's and he punches him.
Nancy feels shame over losing bodily control. Shabnam crushes Jade with the news she's leaving for Pakistan. Nancy and Tamwar break up. Shirley begs Dean to plead guilty. Denise visits Lucas in prison, where he asks her to help Jordan.
For Jade, Shabnam is staying in England. Dean pleads not guilty, disappointing Shirley. This convinces her that Jade belongs with Shabnam. Kush begs, but Shabnam convinces him to say the triple talaq. Shabnam and Jade leave the Square.
Denise moves back to her flat. Abi returns in a neck brace from a ski injury, so Ben delays their breakup. Kush tries to drink away his sorrows, then reacts poorly to Carmel redecorating the nursery. Jay meets a new girl. Jordan shows up.
As Jordan tells Denise to leave him alone, Kim hits him. Buster decides to leave Shirley, but Mick has Lee bring her. Jordan's involved in drugs. Shirley gets Buster to stay by saying she loves him. Jordan is viciously beaten by a gang.

Abi realizes Ben's leaving her. Jay's date with Linzi ends quickly. Denise invites Jordan and J.J. to move in. Lee steals Nancy's new job. Jordan runs into Abi and Ben. With Babe's prodding, Abi falsely announces to Ben she's pregnant.
With Babe's help, Abi fools Ben with a fake pregnancy test. Lucas wants Jordan to visit him in prison. Seeing Phil convinces Ben to raise the baby with Abi. A drunken Kush tries to provoke fistfights, finally succeeding with Martin.
Kush and Martin trade punches. Sonia spoils Tina's mermaid surprise. Gavin wants Kathy to talk Sharon into seeing him again. Les takes Pam to the allotments, where he burns Christine's clothes and they reconcile. Babe watches from afar.
Tina feels neglected by Sonia as she looks after Martin and Kush. Ben goes to the doctor with Abi, who ushers him out of the room and admits the pregnancy is fake. Gavin picks up Dennis after football and secretly buys him a phone.
Martin gets into a car accident with Arthur, but the baby is OK. Sharon finds the phone Gavin gave Dennis. At her hearing, Stacey realizes she's not ready for release. Sharon tells Gavin to get lost. Phil initiates divorce from Sharon.
Martin tries to break Stacey out of care, but she calms him down. Sharon signs the divorce papers. Martin finds a place Stacey can stay with Arthur. Tina's a natural mom. Martin reads the note where Stacey reveals Arthur isn't his son.
Martin brings Arthur to Stacey and confronts her about not being the baby's father. Ben tells Abi he's contracted an STI. Kim and Claudette continue their rivalry. Gavin blackmails Claudette. Martin takes his passport and drives off.

After Ollie stops breathing and suffers a long seizure, he's rushed to hospital. Vincent tries to keep Patrick quiet. A doctor tells the Carters that Ollie suffered a subdural hematoma from hitting his head and may have brain damage.
Vincent sees a not-dead Claudette at Donna's. When Phil learns his alcoholism counselor is Lorna, an old flame, he leaves. Mick can't face Nancy because he blames her for Ollie's injury. Vincent tells Donna that Claudette killed Fatboy.
Martin returns but is leaving the Square for good. Guilt overwhelms Nancy. When Martin is pressed, he tells everyone Kush fathered Arthur. Ronnie throws out Phil, who asks Shirley to take him in. Instead of going, Martin visits Stacey.
At his 20th birthday, Ben acts warm to Paul and cold to Abi. Stacey's home visit with Martin goes poorly. Denise tells Kush to be a father to Arthur. While Buster's at work, Phil propositions Shirley. Kyle tells Stacey he's transgender.
Kyle explains to Stacey about being transgender. Shirley spurns Phil's advances and kicks him out. He spoils Ben's birthday party. Sharon tries to make a guilt-ridden Nancy not leave for Italy. Stacey proposes to Martin and he accepts.
