- There is nudity throughout the film. A woman's breasts are seen in the bathtub. Many instances of topless woman in skimpy underwear and in very seductive poses, topless dancers, artwork depicting topless female nudity. Shirtless male nudity. Man in briefs shown.

- Husband cheats on wife when she is out of town. We see him briefly in bed twice with a stripper (no nudity), some thrusting and another time he picks up a woman in a bar and we see her in bra and panties implying they had sex.
- We see Dorothy in bed with another man(no nudity).
- Paul and Dorothy have sex. Although it is technically consentual, Dorothy cries a lot during the scene. Breasts and brief graphic movements are seen.
- We briefly see a naked male butt during a ladies night at a strip club. We also see lots of male dancers in thong underwear dance suggestively.

Sex & Nudity
- The film heavily implies that Snider has sex with Stratten's corpse. He ties her naked body (a close-up of the butt is visible) to a sexualized exercise bench, and he is discreetly angled in a brief shot, as though he is violating her body (no movement).
- Snider and Stratten's very bloody naked bodies are visible, face-down, in a ceiling shot in a dark room.
Violence & Gore
- The film shows snippets from the aftermath of the murder (and later, the actual murder-suicide), including Snider with blood on his face and hands, bloody bullet wounds, blood on walls and sheets, and Stratten's nude, face-down body (nudity usually offscreen).
- Snider shoves Stratten into a chair twice, throws her down on the bed, and tears her top off in an attempt to rape her. She very reluctantly consents to sex. During sex he pushes her off the bed, onto the floor.
- Two thugs dangle Snider out a hotel window and when he is pulled back in he has some vomit on his suit. As the scene ends, the thugs proceed to dangle him out the window again.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Paul Snider is a very intense scary real-life character who ultimately commits murder in a very intense and disturbing scene.
