For the second time in four episodes, this week's episode of Game of Thrones finds the world of Westeros reeling from the death of one of its young kings.
Just as the aftermath of last season's Red Wedding had each character in the Seven Kingdom's dealing with their place in the new Lannister hegemony, the murder of Joffrey exploded that burgeoning stasis, and our assorted cripples, bastards and broken things have found themselves adrift in a world where nobody's sure exactly who's on top any more.
How do they deal with this? For most characters in "Breaker of Chains" it's...

In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, director Christopher Nolan spoke about the use of IMAX film in the The Dark Knight Rises and shared why he’s so fascinated with the format. Following the 2008 release of The Dark Knight, which included 40 minutes of total IMAX footage, the upcoming sequel will include more than an hour’s worth on the big screen. This officially marks The Dark Knight Rises as the first movie to contain the most IMAX footage ever shown in a Hollywood feature film.
“I remember looking at the audience every time a helicopter banked, and everyone was leaning slightly to the side,” says Nolan. “I had never seen an audience so immersed in a film.”
While IMAX has historically been used as format best suited for museums and planetariums, there’s no denying that the format has spread quickly to the realm of Hollywood films.

127 Hours (20th Century Fox) Harrowing true story of Aron Ralston (James Franco, in another fine turn), an extreme outdoorsman who finds himself trapped in a remote Utah canyon, his arm pinned between two boulders, with no help nearby, no communication to the outside world, and dim prospects for survival, to say the least. Director Danny Boyle manages to prove again that he’s one of the finest filmmakers working today by making a subject that is seemingly uncinematic a true example of pure cinema. Inventive, breathtaking, funny, and horrifying, often all at once. Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara make a memorable, brief appearance as hikers who connect with Ralston during his journey. Also available on Blu-ray disc. Bonuses: Commentary by Boyle, producer Christian Colson, co-writer Simon Beaufoy; Deleted scenes; Featurettes. Widescreen. Dolby and DTS-hd 5.1 surround.
