- A couple make out in a tent, no nudity is shown though.
- T. P. briefly shows his bare rear as he enters a hot tub.
- A woman's breasts are exposed as she is getting into a hot tub.

- A man murders his family with an axe while they sleep.
- A man has his throat ripped out.
- A man is choked with a rope, and hung from a tree. The villain yanks on his legs, causing the man's neck to break.
- A woman finds a man's head, and bloody stump
- A woman is decapitated by a car-hood (her head is later found under the hood).
- A man is pulled through a car door, and killed offscreen.
- After an extensive chase scene, a woman gets an axe in the chest.
- A woman's face is slashed and she is forced, still alive, onto a meat hook.

- There is also a use off the d-word, but not much at all
- Very little profanity used in the film. However, there are minor words used like "Shit".

- Only a reference. A man mentions that the camp counselors have been hiding beer, against the rules, and requests that they save him one.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- It's frightening at times but what else are you expecting from an 80's slasher film.
- This coulda got away with a PG-13 rating.
- A handful of deaths in the film take place offscreen, or are blocked from camera view and lack explicit gore, but could still be considered frightening and intense. There are a number of shots in which the villain suddenly appears that are meant to frighten the viewer, or are played for suspense as he lurks in the bushes.

- A man is implied to be drunk and has an empty bottle of liquor laying on him. He goes to get another bottle but then dies.
