King Rollo

i noticed that king rollo is going to be shown this summer in german television, and i´m so glad about that. this show was just so full of good ideas. i still don´t know how someone could characterize those figures in this short time. i mean, every episode had only 5 minutes time. i´m happy to see it soon

King Rollo was a cartoon produced by the BBC in the 80's. It had very odd animation and colourful characters. I have seen it recently on Nickleodeon and it has not lost any of its greatness. I think it is about time King Rollo was resurrected. I give the whole series a 10/10.

King Rollo is an overprivileged man-child who's the best case for the abolition of the monarchy ever.

This strange little bearded man who looks to be in his 30's spends all day playing with his cat, reading comics and bouncing a ball around while his hard-pressed staff work themselves to the bone obeying his every immature whim. They even have to bribe him to take a BATH, for Pete's sake!

After watching five episodes of this show, I felt the time was ripe for a revolution. What his servants should do is get themselves a decent union, refuse to fulfil tasks that aren't even part of their contract and if things get REALLY bad, perform a Les Miserables on his royal arse. If anyone deserves it, it's this selfish clown.

Let's just say, the Tower Of London has been unoccupied for a while. And Buckingham Palace isn't quite the same without heads on sticks out front...
