Producer Boney Kapoor was Amitabh Bachchans stunt double in several scene's
Sujit Kumar's Marconi character was the main inspiration for Chunky Pandey's character " Aakhri Paasta" in the film Housefull.
A fight sequence in a mutton shop between Amitabh Bachchan and Shetty, was deleted because censor board refused to give this film an 'U' certificate with that scene.
The movie didn't prove lucky for actor 'Amjad Khan'. On the day he signed the film, his father passed away. In the very first schedule of the film, he met with a serious accident. The role was eventually essayed by Utpal Dutt.
The Disco hit The Express by BT Express was used in the film. During the nightclub scene with Amitabh ,Zeenat ,Prem Chopra and Sujit Kumar.
