Like a bad hangover.
McBuff18 May 2001
Sequel to the vastly superior 1976 comedy "Julefrokosten" which was about a wild christmas party in a small factory. This time, most of the same cast is reunited for a company picnic, which predictably goes way out of control. Despite sticking to the same formula as the original, the film has barely any laughs and looks like someone´s bad home video. John Hilbard´s inept direction doesn´t exactly help matters. Ole Thestrup, who once gained infamy by attempting to hijack a jumbo jet while he was under the influence, appears in the prophetic role as a drunken bus driver. *½ (of ****)

One of the best danish comedies ever
Emil30004 June 2018
This gem follows the highly successful Julefrokosten and a lot of the best danish comedic actors and actresses of that time joins in. Especially enjoyable are Preben Kaas and Jørgen Ryg.

It's vastly a non-story of a small company going on a picnic, the employees getting drunk and ending up at a theme park (Bakken). Doesn't sound that exciting, but the acting, the jokes and the realness makes it worth your while. It depicts the danish working-class 70'es with a lot of romanticism, but none the less, it is a great picture about that era. The danish alcohol-culture never stood so proud and tall.

If you liked Julefrokosten and The Olsen Gang, this might be something for you!
