One of the writers for this show, Ray Cameron, was the father of future stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre.
The master tape for the 1979/80 new year special was discovered to have some damage when reviewed decades later when a UK Freeview channel obtained the rights to show Everetts Thames Television series. Although the tape was still broadcast it had to have some noticeable minor edits to make it watchable.
