Everybody on the ship is their enemy.

Warning: Spoilers
With more forced silly Spanish accents than a cartoon mouse, a group of revolutionaries hijack a passenger ship with enough ammunition to supply multiple revolutions. These cheery guerrillas threaten to kill anyone who gets in their way, and that includes the country's deposed president (Frank Silvera) and his caretaker daughter (Louise Sorel), the unhappily married Lee Grant and William Shatner, and naive Barbara Werle. Charles McGraw, as the captain, also faces a storm, adding to the tension of this disaster film made for TV.

With the barrage of big screen disasters, it was obvious that TV would get in on the trend. This one had been shelved since 1968 indicating why several of the actors look a lot younger than they did at the time, particularly Lee Grant who won an Oscar that year. While the situation is tense, it's played almost comically, and as a result is pretty laughable.

Grant has several moments that indicates that her character is a bit of a socialist, and during those moments, she chews the scenery pretty hard. Sorel has a very subtle accent and actually is quite convincing, giving fans of her soap work a thrill to see her when she was younger. While I was glad to see some actor favorites pop up in this, I wouldn't have missed it had it remained shelved.
