Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A man is seemingly obsessed with another woman; he stalks, flirts, becomes romantically involved with, hugs and partially kisses her at one point. All of this seems mild at first but becomes unnerving when it is revealed that the woman is his grown daughter thought killed years ago. He actually becomes unknowingly engaged to his daughter, a virtual twin for his dead wife.

Violence & Gore

  • After a brief struggle, a man is stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors. No blood, but we see the pair sticking out of his neck in a wide shot.
  • A woman slits her wrists offscreen. A pool of blood is seen seeping from underneath a door. She survives and is later seen being pushed around in a wheelchair with bandages on her wrists.
  • A woman and child are held at gunpoint, taken to a separate house, tied up and shouted at, and partially hit with fake stacks of money; after cops surround the house holding guns, the mother (and a fake-blanket pretending to represent the child), are taken by their perpetrators into a car, chased, and then crash into an oil trucker causing an explosion, and then the car to land in a river while burning.
  • A man hits a security guard with a suitcase full of money, knocking him down onto the ground.
  • A man takes a gun to an airport with the intent of killing a woman whom he doesn't yet realize is his grown daughter.
  • A man grieves for the loss of his wife and child through the first half of the movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Most shocking of the scenes involves the plot twist that Sandra is actually Michael's estranged daughter who was presumed to be dead, is in on a scheme to extract revenge on him, and whom he was romantically interested in.
  • Also intense is the ending sequence in which it appears as though Michael (not knowing that she is really his daughter) will shoot Sandra, but at the last second drops the gun and embraces her as he realizes who she really is.
