"Enter... Hot Curry" by Madlib sampled "Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho" shammi kapoor and feroz khan had an fight in 1973 during the songs release of bobby, they were not on speaking terms till after 25 years in 1998 during the release of prem aggan all was well between them.
In March 1973, a then 15-year-old Dimple married 30-year-old actor Rajesh Khanna. Bobby, her debut film, was released eight months later in November 1973. Dimple had two daughters and took a decade long hiatus from film until Manzil Manzil (1984).
After the debacle of Mera Naam Joker , Raj Kapoor went to Haji Mustan to finance the film.
Raj Kapoor had recorded the song "Main Shayar To Nahin" at a studio in Lower Parel, right after which he threw a party to celebrate the start of his new movie. Among the invitees were Shammi Kapoor and Feroz Khan, who had just returned from shooting International Crook in Canada. Shammi Kapoor had put on allot of weight and grew his trademark beard. Feroz Khan was about to start filming Dharmatma. Feroz Khan bluntly told Shammi Kapoor that he looked like he could play his father in Dharmatma. The remark led to a heated exchange of abuses followed by full blown fisticuffs. Soon enough, Randhir was pulling Shammi Kapoor away while Sanjay Khan was doing the same to Feroz. It took a while to separate them. They were put in their respective cars. However , it turned out they both drove to Haji Ali where they proceeded to drink more and cry on each others shoulders. Another story doing the rounds was that Shammi Kapoor and Feroz Khan had a brutal bloody fight in the mid 60's at the Shalimar Hotel over actress Kalpana. Both were involved with her.
When Raj Kapoor was a new actor he went to the home of writer/director/actress Jaddanbai. Her daughter Nargis was making 'pakode.' She opened the front door and upon pushing her hair away from her face 'besan' dough stuck to her forehead. Raj was mesmerized by her, and the actress became his leading lady in a number of very successful films. He put the incident of the 'besan' dough in 'Bobby'.
Rishi Kapoor joined a weight loss clinic prior to starting the film. It was at the clinic he met his first love, a Parsi girl named Yasmin. She was his trainer. They ended up breaking up after the film released and Rishi became a star.
