Typical Manolo Escobar musical comedy with a large number of songs, dances and big fun
ma-cortes18 April 2021
Stars Irma : Concha Velasco, she is a swindler by deceiving naive people thanks to his fortune teller skills, while Manolo: Manolo Escobar is a singer who runs a Flamenco hall. Both of whom are duped or mistreated by their respective job partners. As Irma agrees with Manolo to eliminate their respective work colleagues : Agustin Gonzalez and Roberto Camardiel, but things get awry.

Amusing and entertaining musical comedy by the charming singer Manolo Escobar and the always sympathetic Conchita Velasco as an astrology expert , they have only one coincidence, they hold two colleagues that make their lives uncomfortable and unbearable. Both of them formed an attractive couple in various films as Relaciones Casi Publicas, En Un Lugar De La Manga and Me Debes Un Muerto, most of them directed by Jose Luis Saenz de Heredia. This Me Debes Un Muerto follows the ordinary plot of Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a train, as Concha Velasco proposes Manolo Escobar to kill her colleague Agustin Gonzalez, while Conchita has to murder Manolo's mate , Roberto Camardiel, but of course, things go wrong. Along with famous Manolo Escobar and Concha Velasco show up as secondaries several familiar faces as Gracita Morales, Agustin Gonzalez, Jose Guardiola, Roberto Camardiel, Venancio Muro, Beni Deus, Jesus Guzman, Licia Calderon, Alberto Fernandez, Maria Luisa Ponte, Alicia Hermida , among others.

It displays an adequate and atmospheric cinematography by Emilio Foriscot. Being well produced by usual cameraman Alfredo Fraile, in fact he financed most films played by Manolo Escobar. The motion picture was professionally directed by Jose Luis Saenz de Heredia. He had a long career from the Forties, directing the polemic film, Raza, and Franco Ese Hombre. Subsequently, he made notorious dramatic films as El Indulto, Los Ojos Dejan Huellas, Aguas Bajan Negras, Diez Fusiles Esperan, El Escandalo, Don Juan, Mariona Rebull. Later on, he turned to comedy genre including titles as Faustina, Historias De La Radio, Los Derechos De La Mujer, Todo Es Posible En Granada , Se Armo El Belen, Relaciones Casi Publicas, Juicio De Faldas.... many of them vehicles for popular actors as Concha Velasco, Manolo Escobar, Paco Martinez Soria or Alfredo Landa in Heredia's last movie : Solo Ante El Streaking. The picture will appeal to Manolo Escobar and Concha Velasco.
