This TV Movie is kind of a bizarre way to introduce a Missing Persons detective as Dain is framed for murder and then has to find some missing people to help clear his name - seemed rather contrived and cumbersome. I fast forwarded through the last half-hour which I found to be boring and anti-climactic. I guess its no wonder the series didn't last. This was one of many TV detective series I have read about for years but didn't get to see until the explosion of cable channels that needed to fill hours. A similarly titled-show Jigsaw John with Jack Warden was much better - a more straight procedural. James Wainwright seemed to be on the cusp of finding some TV stardom but between Jigsaw, and Beyond Westworld, which was also pretty lame never made it. In Jigsaw he was pretty bland.
