Airplane thief with a cause.

Warning: Spoilers
This is a rare opportunity to see Sal Mineo playing a villain, the son of the president of a fictional Latin American country who has possession of a plane that he has put a down payment on and refuses to make the rest of the payment, causing two men to go to that country to get the plane back. Peter Duel and Clinton Greyn arrive there and find their way to see Mineo blocked at every turn, and even if they did see him, they would probably not get a warm welcome. Mineo is seeing beating up the pretty Claudine Longet brutally. Certainly this is not the gentle soul movie fans will remember from "Rebel Without a Cause".

Katherine Crawford and Julie Sommars co-star in this TV movie that I could find very little information about online, and I was surprised to find that even with Mineo's participation that there were no reviews. So it is a very obscure film, starting off with a 70's style folk song that Longet sings softly during the film. Her waif like character has a voice even softer than Georgia Engel from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", barely above a whisper. It's a decent film with a rather bizarre subject, and Mineo only has limited screen time, but when he is on you can't take your eyes off of him even if he is a wretched character.
