Sex & Nudity

  • Middle-aged married male protagonist becomes ensnared in a honeytrap with a local moonshiner's daughter and begins an extramarital affair. They are shown embracing and kissing passionately. He visits her bedroom and they are seen laying together, naked under covers kissing. He sleeps there overnight. He finds out later that she's married with a husband in prison, and he confronts her about it.
  • Sitting in a shared office; a man looks at a girlie magazine; no explicit nudity. Another man talks about wanting a motel with "hot sheets."
  • It is implied a man attempts to rape a young woman.

Violence & Gore

  • Man slaps woman and shakes her violently. A man shoots and kills a dog.

  • A police officer is murdered off screen. His dead body is seen next to a grave being dug. The body is instead put in a rowboat and dumped in the reservoir weighted down.
