Graham Gouldman who is credited for the saccharine "The World is for the Young" and a number of other songs in this film, was the composer of several hits for Herman's Hermits including "Listen People" and "No Milk Today". He also wrote hits for the Yardbirds ("For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul") and The Hollies ("Bus Stop and "Look Through Any Window"). He eventually helped found the band 10cc, which had a number of chart-topping hits including "I'm Not In Love".
Led Zepplin bassist John Paul Jones was credited as a member of the music department as a music arranger and song contributor.

As the double-decker bus drives toward Piccadilly Square you can see the massive marquee for a 1967 stage production of the hit musical "Oliver!" at the Piccadilly Theatre. Nine months after the 1968 release of "Mrs. Brown," the film Oliver! (1968) was released, eventually winning the Best Picture Oscar. A few of the scenes from Mrs. Brown were filmed at Shepperton Studios the same year "Oliver!" was in production at Shepperton.
