Sex & Nudity

  • One or two simple kisses. Toward the end of the film, several women's legs are seen as a wind blows their robes open.
  • Lots of period piece scoop neck cleavage. Another scene where heroine under vampire's spell lies on his bed. In addition to bite sex is emptied but nothing shown.
  • In the European version, A women has her breast kissed and sucked with the nipple clearly visible.

Violence & Gore

  • Several people are seen bloody, after vampire attacks.
  • One man dies after a stone structure falls on him.
  • A man, having been bitten on the wrist by a vampire, cauterizes his wound with alcohol and fire. His hand is shown burning and he collapses from the pain.
  • Opening scene is of stake driven through coffin with blood oozing out. Will be disturbing for younger audiences.

  • Wine and champagne are served. Several people are seen drinking. One man is seen completely drunk.
  • One man is drugged by a drink twice: once at a party and later by a professor.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man is almost run down by a racing carriage pulled by two white horses.
