The voice of Rossano Brazzi--who speaks English quite well-- is dubbed by another actor in the English-language version.
Mentioned (and mistranslated) in some journals as "Sword of Syracuse", but unfortunately not granted a British cinema release. Kinematograph Weekly on 23 March 1961 announced a forthcoming release from World Productions Releasing Company (UK), but it never happened. The UK television premiere was on 2 January 1992 and was the third of Channel 4's "Sword and Sandal" season. Billed as "Siege of Syracuse" and in Italian with English subtitles, Channel 4 repeated the film on 31 August 1996, after which it was never seen again.
