Sex & Nudity

  • Women in undergarments are seen when men enter the room as they are dressing. Bare-chested men are seen in a bath house. They have towels wrapped around their waists.
  • Dance hall girls and the female protagonist are all implied to be employed as prostitutes. Protagonist, however, is trying to leave her profession behind and go straight.
  • There is a scene where Michelle ("Angel") is in a bathtub and implied to be naked, but only her upper shoulders and very slight cleavage are visible. At one point, it becomes clear that the actress is actually wearing some kind of undergarment which is briefly visible.

  • There is a fight scene at a gold-mining area of a river. It starts out with guns, and after Sam (John Wayne) wrecks the mine with a cart, the brawl turns into a fistfight. There is a saloon brawl and also a street brawl.
