Jelly Roll recently rode shotgun as Kid Rock performed one of his biggest hits in front of a huge audience. So, what was it about this recent performance that made such a statement?
Kid Rock Decked Out Tesla Cybertruck For Epic Performance
Kid Rock delivered a memorable performance on Saturday night during his Rock N Rodeo show outside of Dallas, Texas. He decked out his Tesla Cybertruck to look like the original 1969 orange Dodge Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard.
The singer already owns the original General Lee car. However, during his performance on Saturday night, he rode in with some famous guests as well. Driving the decked-out Cybertruck was none other than John Schneider, the original Bo Duke actor.
Along with that, Jelly Roll happened to be in the passenger seat. Together, they made quite the trio as Kid Rock went right into his hit single.

No longer content with just owning the original General Lee car from the Dukes of Hazzard, Kid Rock mocked up a Tesla Cybertruck to look like the famous orange 1969 Dodge Charger.
The musician used it to make a grand entrance at his Rock N Rodeo show outside Dallas on Saturday night, singing “Cowboy” from the bed of the Elon Musk pickup while Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider drove the car. Taylor Sheridan brought anyone with an experience on the ranch into his show Yellowstone. This included the acclaimed country musician Ryan Bingham. Bingham plays the guest role of a ranch hand, Walker, in the series. Interestingly, Sheridan is a big fan of the singer’s music and listened to one of his songs on a loop while writing the script for his pre-Yellowstone film, Wind River.

Ryan Bingham’s most recent album, American Love Song, featured a ballad called Wolves, which was inspired by the student organization March For Our Lives. The song was featured in the Taylor Sheridan series, where Bingham’s character sings the song in a scene.

“All roses!” Charley Crockett replies when asked how he’s doing. The songwriter says he picked up the phrase on tour after hearing a gas-station attendant use it and is currently writing a song with that title. Crockett, a thrilling live performer who can transport country fans to lonesome highways or dusty Western towns with his observational lyrics, is always writing while on the road. His new album $10 Cowboy, released April 26, was birthed almost entirely on the go.

A number of major media franchises suffered immensely in their filming and production schedules due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes that took place last year. Yellowstone features Kevin Costner as the leader of the Dutton family, as the final season of the show is delayed as well. However, the strikes were not the only reason that caused the delay to the Western drama series, as Matthew McConaughey is stalling the deal for the lead role in a spin-off series.
Matthew McConaughey in Dallas Buyers Club
The actor delaying the deal has put the show’s schedule behind, causing trouble for both the cast and crew of the drama series. However, this delay would cost him immensely as Michelle Pfeiffer is all set to take over the lead role in a new not-yet-titled spin-off show based on the original show.

Gus Van Sant has taken on a few superlatives over the course of his 40-year career: indie provocateur, Palme d’Or-winning filmmaker and, per the late Robin Williams, “mellowest man in Hollywood.”
A label that long eluded the 71-year-old director, despite his line of work, was Angeleno. Van Sant built one of the more eclectic résumés in modern cinema while living in Oregon, his chosen home until just a few years ago. “There were a lot of water issues near the end — tsunami years at the beach house, flooding on the river in Portland,” he says, now safely 700-plus feet above sea level in the unassuming Hollywood Hills mid-century home that he now calls his primary residence. “Finally, I just sold it all and kind of never went back.”

In the late 1990s, Bandai Entertainment and the Japanese animation studio Sunrise approached young director Shinichirō Watanabe to make a sci-fi action show (mostly so they could sell spaceship toys). Watanabe took that directive and led the creation of "Cowboy Bebop."
This 26-episode show followed down-on-their-luck bounty hunters in the year 2071, when mankind has colonized the solar system and left behind a ruined Earth. It brought Western and noir storytelling together into its sci-fi setting, fused with an existential mood and jazzy music composed by Yoko Kanno.
"Cowboy Bebop" first aired in Japan 25 years ago, from 1998 to 1999, and Bandai Entertainment soon imported it stateside, where it debuted on Cartoon Network block Adult Swim in 2001. If anything, it's become an even bigger (and more enduring) hit in the U.S. than in its homeland. When Eiichiro Oda created the manga "One Piece" 26 years ago, he could have had no idea how vast the multimedia world of riffs, spinoffs, and adaptations of his tale of friendship in piracy in a seafaring dystopia would become. Since its debut in 1997, "One Piece" has grown to encompass a popular anime series, 14 animated feature films, 13 TV specials, a trading card game, and multiple video games, not to mention international versions of the original manga and anime that have made their ways to over 60 countries and regions. The manga broke a world record for most copies sold of any series in 2022, and it isn't just widely read: it's widely loved. You'll frequently find both the comics and anime top best and most beloved lists.
Yet in the wake of all this success, Oda himself has remained mysteriously elusive, giving few interviews, rarely commenting on the life his creation has taken on,...

It’s safe to say that no one saw this one coming. Danish enfant terrible Nicolas Winding Refn, director of Drive, The Neon Demon and the Pusher trilogy, has been tapped to reboot The Famous Five, based on Enid Blyton’s classic series of children’s books.
Blyton wrote 21 books on the adventures of the group of four children — Julian, Dick, Anne and George, along with their dog Timmy — beginning with Five on a Treasure Island, first published in 1942. The books have been adapted for television multiple times.
Refn will act as creator and producer on a new The Famous Five limited series adaptation, which has begun filming across the southwest of the U.K. The Danish director is executive producing through his byNWR Originals company together with BBC Studios-backed Moonage Pictures (Amazon Prime’s The Pursuit of Love) for the BBC and German public broadcaster Zdf. A movie, good, bad or indifferent, is always “about” something. But some movies are about more things than others, and as you watch “Desperate Souls, Dark City and the Legend of Midnight Cowboy,” Nancy Buirski’s rapt, incisive, and beautifully exploratory making-of-a-movie documentary, what comes into focus is that “Midnight Cowboy” was about so many things that audiences could sink into the film as if it were a piece of their own lives.
The movie was about loneliness. It was about dreams, sunny yet broken. It was about gay male sexuality and the shock of really seeing it, for the first time, in a major motion picture. It was about the crush and alienation of New York City: the godless concrete carnival wasteland, which had never been captured onscreen with the telephoto authenticity it had here. The movie was also about the larger sexual revolution — what the scuzziness of “free love” really looked like,...

Egyptt, Lady P, Ceyenne, Cashmere: they’re all on intimate terms with The Stroll, a strip of 14th Street in the Meatpacking District once popular with Black trans sex workers in pre-yuppified Manhattan. It was a dangerous life; the streetwalkers often didn’t know if they’d be beaten up by the johns or the cops. But at the end of the day they knew they had each other, and it’s this sense of community and camaraderie that stands out in The Stroll, the new HBO documentary from stroller-turned-filmmaker Kristen Lovell.

An old photo of Kid Rock “chilling” with legendary drag queen Wanda has resurfaced, following the country singer’s transphobic response to Bud Light’s new partnership with influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The beer company’s recent campaign has sparked a backlash from conservative consumers, who have posted videos on social media showing themselves either pouring away or destroying Anheuser-Busch products.
Among the angered conservatives is musician Rock – real name Robert James Ritchie – who posted a video on Twitter of him donning a Make America Great Again hat while shooting boxes of Bud Light with an automatic rifle.
“F*** Bud Light and f*** Anheuser-Busch,” he says looking into the camera.
Following the “Cowboy” singer’s transphobic response to the company’s partnership, a 2003 picture showing him downing a Bud Light next to late drag queen Wanda has gone viral.

The Lone Ranger introduced Clayton Moore in the titular role. Despite the fact that the character hid his identity behind a mask made out of his dead brother’s clothing, the actor still became known for the role. Nevertheless, The Lone Ranger Season 3 went ahead without Moore for the year and replaced him with John Hart for very specific reasoning that the actor later opened up about.

1923 continues expanding the Yellowstone universe. The show — which stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren — serves as a sequel series to 1883 and follows the rich history of the Dutton family. A big part of why fans have responded so favorably to these shows is the casting. In fact, 1923 star Brandon Sklenar revealed how he felt destined to play his character, Spencer Dutton.
How Brandon Sklenar relates to his ‘1923’ character
Created by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water), 1923 carries all the hallmarks of a classic Western drama. But despite the period setting, Sklenar told Esquire he connected deeply with Spencer early on in the show’s development.
“There are so many parallels between he and I. He’s also very different for me, but there’s for sure parallels. The humor and how he deals with pain. That’s very dry wit. I can have that, but I’m like,...

Denmark has finally started addressing the lack of diversity in local movies and TV series. From afar, the country is the epitome of liberalism and home to provocative filmmakers like Lars von Trier and a new wave of directors with foreign origins, such as Ali Abassi (“Holy Spider”) and Milad Alami (“The Charmer”).
But up close, the Nordic country has been sliding to the far right and enacting Europe’s harshest anti-immigration laws, pushing the local film community to react. The alarm was recently rung by A Bigger Picture, a female-led advocacy group spearheaded by Laura Allen Müller (“Borgen”), Sandra Yi Sencindiver (“The Wheel of Time”), Malaika B. Mosendane (“Chosen”), Siir Tilif (“Fatal Crossing”) and Dorcas Joanna Hansen (“Elvira”).
Along with newspaper articles and appearances on TV shows, the campaign triggered the most vivid reactions when it flagged the all-white casts of three high-profile Danish productions, including Von Trier’s “The Kingdom series.

Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and Alex (Julia Schlaepfer) are well on their way to see the Dutton clan in Montana, but the trip was delayed when their rickety tugboat (captained by Prison Break‘s Peter Stormare) collided with a gigantic ship. Fortunately, the couple was saved by a passing craft helmed by the appropriately named Capt. Shipley (Game of Thrones‘ Joseph Mawle), a gentle soul who marries the couple after offering them rings from dead sailors — and a smaller one around his neck.
Here, Schlaepfer explains how they shot those challenging water scenes after spending a blissful two days frolicking on a beach in Kenya. And are they ever going to get to Montana? She promises it’s coming …. soon.

You can’t argue with disc collectors eager to rediscover movies they loved at age 10, in terrific kiddie matinees. Cowboy star Rory Calhoun makes a perfectly fine Italian vagabond ladies’ man for this very un-serious ‘oriental’ adventure, and Yôko Tani is the requisite princess who needs kissing lessons. Tim Lucas’s welcome, info-packed commentary satisfies our curiosity about the long-unavailable title — it’s different than the A.I.P. release we (barely) remember.

Sharpen your teeth, because the highly-anticipated anime adaptation of "Chainsaw Man," Tatsuki Fujimoto's award-winning and extremely popular manga series of the same name is arriving on Crunchyroll next month. Originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, the "Chainsaw Man" anime is directed by Ryū Nakayama, and tells a bleak and nihilistic story about Denji, a teenage boy living with Pochita, a painfully adorable dog err ... chainsaw devil as the two harvest devil corpses to repay the debt of his father. A thriller both psychological and supernatural, "Death Note" is a cat and mouse game, but the players change throughout the story. For the bulk of the series, it's a match between Light Yagami, the Death Note's owner who uses it to kill the world's criminals, and L, the world's greatest (and weirdest) detective who is determined to identify "Kira," the person responsible for the string of mysterious deaths.
L comes close to the truth several times, but Light manages to stay one step ahead. Part 1 of the series concludes with L's death; Light manipulated events so it wasn't even him who had to write L's name in the Death Note. However, Light's victory isn't permanent. L's two handpicked successors, Near and Mello, take over the Kira case. Like L, the two were raised in British orphanage Wammy's House. Mello also has a bitter, one-sided rivalry with Near.
