a story about sacrifice

i don't know if this is a great love story, i think it's more a story about sacrifice, what would you do for the one you love?, and in some way deals with the racism that exists in mexico, (even though some people think there's no racism in Mexico), like in all diverse societies there's racism, just like there's poor people, rich people, ignorant people and very well educated people, so you have this dirt pour mexican indian, who's not the most popular lad in town (you see even among his people there's envy and hatred for those a little different), the only things he cares about is putting food on his plate and flowers in the church altar, until one day he sees her, is she the virgin mary? an angel?, she's his goddess, he knows he's not worthy of her, so he decides to become worthy, use every ounce of his strength to give her something close to what she's used to being a rich spoiled bit**, (lady) from the big city, she could never see him as more than a friend, a companion (comparable to a pet, maybe a lap dog or something), he would sacrifice every thing for her, could she do the same?, could she really feel love for this poor dude, i like this movie because i feel for Tizoc, cast perfectly in the role of the bit**, sorry, Maria is the real life bit**, Maria Felix, and Pedro Infante (the mexican elvis) as Tizoc.

a great romantic story

Tizoc a great unknown movie, is one of the great romantic films of all times . Two great stars shine in the beautiful and poignant images of this mexican tragedy : Pedro Infante, singer , mexican icon , who dies in 1957 , victim of a plane crash , and María Felix ,eho has died in april 2002 . She was one of the most beautiful women of the planet , better konwn as "La Doña " o "María Bonita " . Her international career includes films directed by Luis Buñuel, Rafael Gil, Jose Luis Saenz de Heredia and Jean Renoir. "Tizoc " tells an impossible love between and indian and a dame . Love, death and sacrifice , aeternal themes of human beings .

Not enough worthy ending for Rodriguez-Infante association

The last Film of the duo Rodriguez-Infante,didn't result so spectacular as someone could expect, even it get together the greatest star of the Mexican Movies,Pedro Infante and Maria Felix, everyone in a character according with their personality,Rodriguez, viewed Infante'simplicity comparable with a Mexican Indigenous, however he exaggerated to give him very infantile manners, with Maria's character he didn't have so much to add, that is to say she was haughty and arrogant exactly same of the actress,

the popular sense of the Ismael Rodriguez matched perfectly with all the folklore shown in the film, the indigenous traditions, several kind of rituals, and others things which impress foreign audience, maybe more than the story that Rodriguez try to tell, for example we can see to Infante sing a curios song to the Virgen Mary in the church later he did the same to Maria, who confuse( first time he saw her) with the virgin, but this is not an impediment to pretend to get married with her ,more convincing than the starring couple is Julio Aldama as the mean Indian Nicuil .

Personally I consider Tizoc far to be the best performance of Pedro Infante, but as a Mexican make suppose to be proud that Infante won the silver Bear in the Berlin Festival having an opponent like Marlon Brando,in spite of Tizoc doesn't seem a worthy ending for a such important duo(Rodriguez-Infante) in our Cinematography
