Towards the end of the film where the two boys fall out over the gramophone, it is playing a 78 on the London label (part of British Decca at the time). However when Cliff actually stamps on the turntable, it is playing a record on the "Rex" label. The actual recording, by Edmund Hockridge, is on the Parlophone label.
Willy repeatedly walks around carrying an old wind-up gramophone which is playing a record. Even though he carries it at an angle and jolts it violently, the music carries on playing. This is impossible: in reality the needle would be jolted out of the groove and the record would skip.
