Simpson was granted the decision on Thursday while at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada, where he appeared live via video teleconference in front of the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners in Carson City. Simpson's eldest daughter, Arnelle, also spoke at the hearing in support of her father.

Darryl Fisher is a civilian pilot committed to honoring senior veterans.
As captain of a mini-fleet of vintage World War II biplanes, Fisher travels the country dispensing “dream flights” to those who have served our country. Fisher’s nonprofit Ageless Aviation Dream Foundation so far has awarded more than 2,000 flights aboard open-cockpit Stearman aircraft.
“Our mission is to give back to those who have given,” says Fisher, whose group is based in Carson City, Nevada. “We want them to know how grateful we are.”
Most of the flight recipients live in nursing homes or assisted living communities, Fisher tells People.

To be included in the registry the film needs to be “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” They have to be at least ten years old and are chosen from a list of films nominated by the public.

Oklahoma City — Oklahoma prosecutors on Thursday charged a second man with killing a prostitute featured on HBO's "Cathouse series" and three other people.
Denny Edward Phillips faces six counts of first-degree murder for the 2009 shooting deaths of Brooke Phillips, 22, who had worked as a prostitute at the legal brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nev., Milagrous Barrera, 22, Jennifer Ermey, 25, and Casey Mark Barrientos, 32. The two additional murder charges are because Brooke Phillips and Barrera were pregnant.
The victims were found inside a burning home in southwest Oklahoma City. Phillips, who was not related to Brooke Phillips, faces an additional charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater said he plans to seek the death penalty.
"We believe he ordered the hit on Casey Barrientos," Prater told The Associated Press. The others were killed to eliminate witnesses to Barrientos' slaying, the prosecutor said.

Halseth is a write-in candidate for a spot on the list. Her new campaign comes months after her resignation from the state Senate.
