I’ve done ten episodes of The Review now. Ten episodes in a little over a year. I know what you’re thinking…impressive I know. The mere fact that I managed to get off my butt long enough to edit together ten installments of around seven minutes each in just over a year? I’m pretty proud of myself. So for this eleventh episode I thought I would celebrate by completely abandoning the format I’ve set up and give you this…my top ten favourite bit characters from an animated television show. You’re welcome.
*At the time this episode was produced, The Cleveland Show had not yet been cancelled. Thankfully, it’s now been put to rest.

It’s Halloween so what better way to bring The Review back than with one of the original horror greats, Dracula! Only…it won’t really be Dracula. The film featured on this episode of The Review is Drácula, the Spanish language version that was filmed at the same time as the original Dracula using the same sets and script.
Is it actually any good? Why did they make a Spanish Dracula? Well you can learn by doing, just hit the link and watch this brand new episode of The Review!

Remember when I was supposed to be posting these every other Friday? Me neither. In fact, I never said that. Yeeees…that’ll do.
The X-Files. One of the best television series of all time and a source of nightmares for those of us who grew up with it. Sure it outstayed its welcome (from anywhere between one and five years depending on who you talk to) but it became a cultural icon and something countless other television shows aspired to. It’s been over ten years since the series went off the air but you can still find millions of people watching it, talking about it, and writing disturbing fan fiction about it.
So come watch this special Double review of two of my favourite episodes…Squeeze and Tooms.

The Review ended up having a bit of an unintended hiatus over the past 2 months, entirely my fault, or that’s what Graham keeps telling me. So we’re back with another fantastic episode which features one of my all-time favourite films…Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. A highly underrated film that I definitely recommend and…oh just watch the video!
Ps. You can tell how long ago this episode was completed by my references to Skyfall as an upcoming film. Get it together Kevin!

Earlier this year our very own Kevin Fraser stepped away from the drawing board that is The City Strip and took on another task, video reviews. He’s completed six reviews, all watchable and entertaining – I promise. If you haven’t seen them, what better time than now when we’re all incredibly lazy to post new and relevant news? Happy holidays!
In Kevin’s own words: It was mentioned a few episodes ago on The City of Films Show and now it’s finally here. At long last it’s…The Review. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, so I finally just decided to go for it. I’ll be reviewing movies, TV shows, shorts, pretty much anything I want. I’ve been having a blast doing these so far and its also given me an excuse to start editing again, which is something I love doing.

Welcome to another fantastic episode of The Review! This will the final episode of 2012 so I’ll take this moment to wish you all a very happy holidays and wonderful new year…assuming we live through the day that is.
Lets just say the Mayans were right and we’re all going down…do you really want to spend your last moments with loved ones? Wouldn’t you rather listen to me talk about an episode of a 50 year old TV series that you probably don’t even remember?
I feel confident you’ll make the right choice, watch below!

Welcome to another fabulous episode of The Review!
Today’s episode deals with a show near and dear to me, Star Trek. Some Trekkies (or Trekkers or…whatever the heck we call ourselves) only follow specific series or films but I’m an equal opportunity Trekkie, I love them all. All series. All movies. They’re all good in my books. With Star Trek: The Next Generation being released on Blu-ray (with the other series to follow) and a new movie coming in 2013, it’s certainly an exciting time to be a Star Trek fan.
So press play and enjoy my review of The Man Trap (which I’m fairly certain was the first Original Series episode I ever saw).

Well shucks, I kept forgetting to post this episode of The Review. I know you all were desperately looking forward to it and there’s really no excuse other than…it was Graham’s fault! All his, I’m completely blameless in this!
Graham – “Now Kevin, what have I told you about telling fibs?”
Kevin – “That…they’re bad…and I shouldn’t tell ‘em.”
Graham – “That’s right, now you run along and think about what you’ve done.”
Kevin – “…Okay.”
Graham – “There’s a good lad.”
Well gee whiz, that sure backfired didn’t it? Anyway, today’s very special episode of The Review features an episode of everybody’s favourite Korean War comedy series…M*A*S*H! Enjoy!”
