- The usual slapstick elements that are typical of Three Stooges films. Among them:
- Larry is seen biting his nails off and spitting them out.
- Moe intentionally jabs Shemp in the leg with a needle twice.
- Moe accidentally sits down on a hot iron.
- Shemp is violently slapped and punched by an angry woman (his nose was broken during the filming of this scene).
- A group of women fight over which one gets to marry Shemp. One of them pulls Shemp's hair out.
- A woman stuffs Shemp's head into a paper press after Shemp refuses to marry her.
- Moe and Larry attempt to hit women with the end of a gun, this of course backfires.
- Moe tries to get a woman to sit on a bear trap, but he ends up sitting on it instead.
- This is all done for comedic purposes.
