- While camping outside of town, the sheriff tries to arrest Froggy and Sunset, but a gang of outlaws help them get away. When they get to Medicine Springs, AZ, Froggy is arrested. Froggy and Sunset think that Poppy is behind all the commotion, but they do not know that Froggy is a dead ringer for Outlaw "Beefsteak" Discoe. Sheriff Hoag plans on a hanging, whether it is Discoe or Froggy.—Tony Fontana <tony.fontana@spacebbs.com>
- Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnette) is the pill-popping pal of Sunset Carson (Sunset Carson) , top cowhand on the ranch owned by Poppy Calhoun (Peggy Stewart). Blowhard circus owner P. T. Bailey (LeRoy Mason) wants Sunset to perform in his rodeo and Poppy offers her cowhand's services if Bailey will buy her stock of horses. But when he learns that Frog goes with the deal, he reneges. Poppy dislikes losing the sale so she decides to cure Frog of his imaginary ailments...or kill him. On the way to town, Sunset and Frog are fired on by a posse, rescued by some outlaws, and then greeted by a terror-stricken populace, which they find puzzling. Sheriff Hoag (Earle Hodgins) recaptures them, pegging Frog as the notorious desperado, Beefsteak Discoe (Smiley Burnette). Frog is held for the $66,000 reward, as the real Discoe, a dead-ringer for Frog, attempts a hold-up on the stagecoach bringing the reward money. Sunset thwarts the attempt and turns the money over to the sheriff and convinces him that it is Frog in jail and not the real Discoe. Meanwhile, Discoe has Frog abducted from the jail and takes his place in jail to steal the reward money. Released by his kidnappers outside the town, Frog is again captured by the posse, who once again believe he is Discoe , since they think the real Frog is in jail. Frog again escapes and confronts his twin at the jail, where a brawl ends with both, now played by stuntmen, being knocked out. The stuntmen are replaced by the actors, and the split-screen Discoe comes to first and pills fall from his pocket, since he is wearing Frog's clothes, so all hands assume he is the real Frog. But when Frog comes to and starts looking for his pills, Sunset recognizes the situation and shoots Discoe in the shoulder. Since Discoe is still breathing, the sheriff decides to hang him anyway, and Frog is a relieved spectator, finally being cured of his imaginary ailment. It ended without naming who collected the $66,000 reward.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
