Character actor Joe Yule, who plays the uncredited barber, was the father of Mickey Rooney (born Ninnian Joseph Yule Jr.).

Coincidentally, Walter Baldwin (Tom Cooney) would appear on the likewise titled 'Stranger in Town (1960)' 17 years later, becoming the first actor to portray "Floyd the Barber". That episode also had two characters named 'Bill' and 'Lucy' (played by Pat Colby and Marlene Willis, respectively).

Although onscreen credits include a copyright statement, the title was not listed in the Copyright Catalog, resulting in it falling into public domain.
