Jack Randall and Vince Barnett are a pair of cowpokes working for the Overland Stage when Indians who've been peaceful suddenly go on the warpath. One of the tribe was killed in the white man's town of Suddenly and it has to do with a counterfeiting ring operating in the old west. Sheriff Glenn Strange is in on the case as well as some secret service operatives.
Chief villains in the film are Dennis Moore who is a professional counterfeiter and saloon owner Tris Coffin who sports an ethnic accent and affects manners more like an eastern gangster than a western villain.
Randall does have a rather unbelievable escape after being shot which did dampen the credibility of this Monagram feature somewhat. Still it's not a bad western. I've seen two of Randall's features for Monagram and both seem to be a cut above the normal run of B westerns. This one is nicely paced with both action and plot.
