Twins round the twist.
dbdumonteil6 August 2014
Do not let Robert Bresson's name fool you!it's a comedy and it has nothing to do with the director's works. He is a only screenwriter for this slapstick based on a play by Tristan Bernard.

By and large ,this is a confused work ,not always very funny ,badly directed ;in spite of the two giants ,Raimu and Michel Simon ,it generally fails to excite me -because I've seen these two in so many works that are far Superior to this mediocre story of twins. One can save the scene when Raimu ,as a lawyer ,delivers a stirring speech for defence : it actually deals with a naughty dog who peed on a Concierge's door;this way,two Raimu playing the twins in straight-jacket in the ambulance is worth a watch .

Which is not really the case of the movie as a whole.
