Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Ollie is hit in the face with a doormat.
  • Ollie shoves Stan, only for him to shove him back, knocking him off the porch.
  • Stan chops a block of wood that hits Ollie on the head.
  • A drunk mistakingly puts his wallet into Stan's pocket and when Ollie discovers it, he accuses Stan of stealing from the old lady they were trying to help. This leads into a shouting match between the two, followed by Ollie forcibly pushing Stan into their car, where they continue to wrestle, causing the car to collapse into a heap. They continue wrestling until Ollie emerges the victor and carries a whining Stan back to the old lady's home and shoves him inside. Stan is crying as Ollie accuses him of theft.
  • The old lady lays out that the whole thing was part of a rehearsal for a community play. Just as Ollie feels incredibly foolish, Stan proceeds to retaliate by punching Ollie, poking him in the eye and kicking him in the rear. He chases Ollie outside to the garage, threatening him with an ax, which he uses to chop down the garage. The building collapses on Ollie, and then Stan starts chopping wood blocks. Two of which hit Ollie on the head, while the last one hits Stan.

Profanity

  • Name-calling. "You snake in the grass, you traitor, you sheel in wolf's clothing, you double-crosser, you Judist!" "Ya big bozo."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Stan and Ollie get into a big fight because the latter mistakingly believes his friend stole from the old lady they were trying to help. This episode is notorious among Laurel and Hardy fans as the one where Stan retaliates against Ollie for all of his abuse. The last few minutes can be pretty intense, albeit in a funny way.
