This film is one of over 200 titles in the list of independent feature films made available for television presentation by Advance Television Pictures announced in Motion Picture Herald 4 April 1942. At this time, television broadcasting was in its infancy, almost totally curtailed by the advent of World War II, and would not continue to develop until 1945-1946. Because of poor documentation (feature films were often not identified by title in conventional sources) no record has yet been found of its initial television broadcast. It first aired In Cincinnati Friday 23 September 1949 on WCPO (Channel7) and in Salt Lake City Tuesday 27 December 1949 on KDYL (Channel 4).
Only the edited 1937 re-release, running 67 minutes, with the original 2-strip Technicolor finale in black and white, was available for many years. But a complete print, running 79 minutes and including the Technicolor finale, survives at the George Eastman House. In 2011, it was run on Turner Classic Movies.
The original 2-strip Technicolor finale at the end of Reel 10 ran 358 feet (110 m) (approximately 4 minutes).
Listed as Bride 66 in the Official Reminder List at the 4th Academy Awards.
