- The woman's breasts are briefly seen nude, her nipple is briefly flashed for half a second. Her bared buttocks are shown.

- This is a 1929 film, so obviously the first one is done with special effects. It's extremely graphic nonetheless:
- A woman's eye is slit open with a straight razor, causing liquid to ooze out. They actually used a cow carcass for the effect, so it is real to some degree.
- A severed hand is shown, with bone protruding from wrist.
- A man's hand has a hole in it, which ants crawl out from.
- A woman is forcibly molested.
- Two dead donkeys are seen, one is dripping blood from its nose, and has maggots crawling in the eye sockets.
- A man is shot.
