- Mike Costigan: Leave it to us. We'll find a marryin' man if we have to shoot 'em.
- Mike Costigan: [as they're looking for a prospective beau for Lee, they ome across a chinese man] Not a chink. They get shot too easy.
- Meek Eastern dude: I've just reached manhood.
- Mike Costigan: [Sarcastically] Then you better reach again.
- intertitle: Cleanliness is next to Godliness - that's why Saturday night comes before Sunday.
- 'Bull' Stanley: [as Hunter's gang closes in] Well, pardners - I guess us three old sharpshooters is together for the last reunion.
- Mike Costigan: Shucks! One good man could hold this pass against a whole army of men like Hunter.
- Mike Costigan: [Sarcastically after Spade takes a rifle] I said a good man.
- 'Spade' Allen: Mike, your pants may be shabby, but they cover a warm heart...
- 'Bull' Stanley: [to Spade] You and Mike go on - I'll stay.
- 'Spade' Allen: [With cards he has taken from inside his hat] We'll cut high card to see who stays.
- Mike Costigan: All right but no trioks. This is a gentlemen's gane.
- Mike Costigan: [after Mike and Bull draw, Spade draws an ace of clubs for himself] Why you low down horse thief. You cheated.
- 'Spade' Allen: [Mike and 'Spade' glare at each other but Bull shakes 'Spade's' hand and 'Spade' throws his ace away. Spade's last word to his friends] Don't tell the little gal - let her think I made it the other way 'round.
- Mike Costigan: [Mike realizes he won't be seeing Spade again and hangs his head, ovrcome with emotion] Goodbye, 'Spade.' It's been a long, long trail.
- 'Spade' Allen: Goodbye, Mike - You been a good partner...
- Mike Costigan: [Before leaving Mike gives him his plug of chewing tobacco] That oughta last ya.

- Mike Costigan: [while in the mining shack and Hunter's men closing in] I'll fool 'em - I won't die with my boots on.
- Rev. Benson: [to a pioneer family just before the land rush is to begin] Keep your plow! You'll find the real wealth of this land in the soil.
- Mike Costigan: [to Hunter's men just before they are about to shoot him] Hold everythin', gentlemen - I want to ask you one last riddle - positively the last - - Where was Moses when the LIGHTS WENT OUT?
- 'Bull' Stanley: [to Lee] Guess maybe Mike and 'Spade' are callin' me - Don't ever be afraid o' nothin', Missy - because the three of us will be watchin' over you...
