Robert Ware ( Herbert Fortier ) decides to try and turn wild Mag o' the Alley ( Alice Calhoun ) into a refined young lady. So he obtains her release into his custody and sets about the task, to prove to his friend Judge Arnold ( Ramsey Wallace ) that he can sophisticate the girl. Years pass and when Arnold is in the war, he meets and falls in love with a pretty nurse. Though their acquaintance is brief, he never forgot her and when he comes home, recounts the experience to Robert. Mag--now Margaret--overhears their conversation and reveals herself to be that nurse. She now accepts Arnold who has to admit that Robert was right about refining the Little Wildcat.
