From the producer of over 700 movies - need we say more?

Saw snippets of this "blink and you'll miss it" silent some years ago during a television documentary highlighting the early years of film in the US.

LUKE'S FIREWORK FIZZLE was one of an incredible 36 titles that Hal Roach turned out in 1916. In all he made 48 "Luke" films, all starring a young Harold Lloyd as the perpetually uncoordinated Luke. This one concerned itself with his brief period of employment in a firework factory when things became radically overheated!

Even here, Lloyd showed why he was to be regarded later as one of the greatest comic geniuses ever.
